Cast for “Moon That Embraces the Sun” Takes Part in Interview

The cast for the upcoming musical, “Moon That Embraces the Sun”, was recently interviewed on a number of different questions. In the video, Seohyun says, “This is my first attempt in a musical. ‘Musical’ was a genre that I always dreamed of. It is an honor and an exciting thing to be cast in a project that I really like and to work with such great sunbaes.” She later adds that “it was a relief to be acting with someone familiar and close (Translator’s note: Super Junior’s Kyuhyun)“, and that she will learn from the other actresses who have played “Yeonwoo” in the past.

KBS Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Footage for “Prime Minister and I”

This past week, KBS revealed more behind-the-scenes footage from the drama, “Prime Minister and I”. Despite the humorous atmosphere, Yoona has to battle both the cold weather and fish while filming the clip.

Girls’ Generation Appears on KBS2′s “Entertainment Weekly”

KBS2′s “Entertainment Weekly” did a short recap of the “2013 KBS Gayo Daechukje”. Towards the end of the video, a number of groups are present to say a few words, including Girls’ Generation. The ladies also went on to wish viewers a happy new year as well.

Yoona recently took part in narrating Innisfree’s newest advertisement for its “Orchid Enriched Cream”. In the video, a single orchid is seen in the snow and Yoona’s calm and soft voice is in the background.

Billboard Continues to Honor Girls’ Generation with Its Rankings

Billboard chose Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” as one of the “20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2013”, ranking the group’s hit Korean song as tenth on the list, which also prompted an official tweet from SM Entertainment to recognize the honor. Billboard also recently compiled a list of the “Most Viewed 2013 K-Pop Videos on YouTube in America”. Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” was ranked at second while “GALAXY SUPERNOVA” came in at number eleven. Last week, Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” was also named by Billboard as the fourth best-selling K-Pop song in the U.S. for 2013.

Taeyeon Recommends Rihanna’s “Diamonds” on NAVER MUSIC

In celebration of the upcoming new year, NAVER MUSIC asked some popular artists what songs they would recommend. Taeyeon chose Rihanna’s song, “Diamonds”, and added her wish that “Girls’ Generation will shine in 2014 too.”

Taeyeon, Jessica, and Yoona Place on List of Top 10 Beautiful Asian Women

Recently, Chinese netizens were asked whom they thought was the most beautiful Asian woman. Taeyeon, Jessica, and Yoona all made it into the top ten, with Yoona winning the top spot overall. These three, along with Sooyoung, also made it onto the “Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2013″.

Yoona Selected as Girl Group Member with Flawless Skin

Among 100 women in the 20s-30s age range, Yoona was picked as the girl group member who has the most flawless skin. Yoona won the majority with 57 of the votes. Second place went to Tiny-G’s Dohee.

Ha Jiyoung tweeted a holiday photo with the staff of SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment”. On Christmas day, Sports Seoul received a cute photo from Seohyun. She added bells and a “MERRY CHRISTMAS!” banner to her picture to bring even more holiday cheer.

Girls’ Generation Staff Posts a Group Photo on Girls’ Generation’s Official Website

The “Staff Diary” on Girls’ Generation’s official website posted a photo of Girls’ Generation holding up papers that fans used for a surprise event at the “Märchen Fantasy” concert. The staff thanked everyone for coming to the concert despite the cold weather and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
