Girls’ Generation Leaves a Video Message for “BaiduKing Chart”
Girls’ Generation recently recorded a video message for a new Baidu Music’s new music chart, the “BaiduKing Chart”. In the message, Sooyoung states that Baidu Music has created the “BaiduKing Chart” and asks viewers to listen to Girls’ Generation songs, as well as warmly receive Girls’ Generation’s future releases.
SM Entertainment Shares “Singin’ in the Rain” Cast Interview
On May 27th, SM Entertainment uploaded a cast interview on its YouTube channel for its “Singin’ in the Rain” musical production. In the video, members of the cast answer several questions about their characters and the musical. Sunny introduces herself and her character, Kathy Selden, whom she describes as having an image of being passionate about love. Sunny also describes “Singin’ in the Rain” as “being very fun to watch, even as a movie” and “is a piece [of art]” she likes. Choi Soojin, Sooyoung’s sister, also answers several questions in the interview.

Innisfree aired a new CF featuring Yoona for its “Play Green” campaign. The CF comes in 15-second, 30-second, and one-minute versions.

“Marie Claire Korea” posted two additional photos of Yoona from its “Use a Hankie Save the Earth” project with Innisfree. One photo was released last week in addition to a video featuring Yoona. All three photos and the video can be found on the “Marie Claire Korea” website.

SONE Picture/Video of the Week
To celebrate Yoona’s birthday, fans from China placed a video clip on an LED screen near several major Korean media buildings. The video details Yoona’s popularity in China as evidenced by rankings on Baidu charts, Weibo searches, and television ratings for the Chinese broadcast of “Prime Minister & I”. Other fan projects for Yoona’s birthday included a “Yoona Forest“, blood donations, and others.
