The title track of the fifth Japanese single will be the Japanese remake of the Korean hit single, “Oh!”. The double A-side single will also feature “All My Love Is For You” and will be released on September 26th. The ringtone and music video for the Japanese version of “Oh!” featuring updated visuals is scheduled for release on September 14th.
Following the brief promotion period of “PAPARAZZI”, Girls’ Generation is now headed back to Japan to promote “Oh!”. On September 24th, the girls will perform on Fuji TV’s “HEY!HEY!HEY! Music Champ”. This performance marks the girls’ sixth appearance on the program, with their latest having been the July 9th performance of “PAPARAZZI”. The girls are also scheduled to make their first appearance on Nippon TV’s “Music Lovers”. The program will be recorded on September 25th, but the air date is still undetermined.
Also to be released on September 26th is the “Complete Video Collection“, which features most of Girls’ Generation’s Korean and Japanese music videos, as well as re-edited performances from the first Japanese tour. The limited edition of video collection also includes behind-the-scenes music video footage and an interview in which the girls review their own music videos.
Recently, Girls’ Generation released a schedule for their second Japanese tour. The tour will bring the girls to six different cities and consists of a total of fourteen concerts. It is set to begin on February 9, 2013 at the Kobe World Kinen Hall in Kobe, Japan and will conclude on April 10, 2013 at the Nihon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

I’m sure the fans in Japan will be thrilled with the japan tour :D
hopefully the tour will go well :)
okay hopefully running smoothly
I can’t wait to see a new MV, although it would’ve been oh so much better if it was a new Japanese song instead… XD but i’m excited to see the MV… really really excited…. <3
SNSD DAEBAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had ordered it like 3weeks ago and I still have to wait for another 3 weeks until the DVD comes.. Surely, it takes a long time. Haha.. zzz.. I don’t really care abt what they will release even though I was hoping that they will release something new.
i did not expect this :) i thought it would be an original Japanese song. still, i’m expecting to see the new MV of OH!. i also hope they can make English remakes of their songs since they already made one with The Boys.
Same here!
I’m really looking forward to see the new MV for Oh!
It’s still my favorite MV because it’s the cutest <3
I doubt it to be as good as the original but I can't wait anyway!!
Wait, so the Oh! Jap ver will be part of their 2nd Jap album too? I thought it was just a single by itself…and will PAPARAZZI and All My Love Is For You be in the 2nd Jap album too? Please can someone enlighten me? :D Thanks!
This is what I expect….^_^
I’m so confused! Can someone please explain why is this the 5th single already?? Paparazzi, All My Love Is For You, and Oh! – that’s only 3. What am I missing here? Time Machine was part of their Japanese The Boys’ album, so I don’t think that would count as part of this series of 5 singles.
Can someone please help me understand.
It is their fifth overall CD single release:
1. GENIE
2. Gee
3. MR.TAXI/Run Devil Run
4. PAPARAZZI
5. Oh!
ALL MY LOVE IS FOR YOU isn’t a single.
Oh!/All My Love Is For You, are combined as a double single just like, Mr Taxi/Run Devil Run
When you buy the new single it will have Oh! and All My Love Is For You on it.
soulsteelgray & BunnyMECH – thanks very much for clarifying. I think I’m understanding that these are CD Singles. And the Oh! Jap version will have AMLIFY. Ok, got it.
So then a CD release of Paparazzi by itself was released already? I guess I missed that.
And do you know or expect that Paparazzi, Oh! & AMLIFY will be combined together on another possibly upcoming Japanese album/CD? Thanks!
It’s likely that PAPARAZZI, Oh!, and ALL MY LOVE IS FOR YOU will be on the second Japanese album.
Also, a bit of clarification: ALL MY LOVE IS FOR YOU is a B-side to Oh!, so the single isn’t a double A-side like MR.TAXI/Run Devil Run.
カップリング曲 = coupling song, or B-side
The upcoming single is Oh!, not Oh!/ALL MY LOVE IS FOR YOU.
I had only recently listened to the Japanese versions of Gee, Run Devil Run, and Tell Me Your Wish. While not as good as the Korean versions, I felt they were still good, and found myself wanting to hear more of their old songs as Japanese remakes; so this couldn’t have come at a better time in my opinion.
Well I wasn’t expecting this.
It’s not a bad thing, it’s just that I was expecting an original Japanese song instead of a remake.
But either way, I’m sure it’ll be just as awesome as it was a few years ago! I am looking forward to it!
Now it really makes me curious as to what song the girls were dancing to in the “All My Love Is For You” MV. Hmm….
And I hope we hear some news about their second japanese album soon too!!! :)
I think they were dancing to the remix of The Boys that was performed on the Letterman Show (^__^)
Oh my gosh I’ve waited for a Japanese version for a year now! I’m so happy! I can read Japanese but not Korean so now I’ll be able to sing along with them! I just wonder why they didn’t release it earlier? Their voices change year by year, so the Jap. version won’t sound like the Korean version. :( Oh, well! I’m stoked! :)
cant wait to hear
I am so happy to hear that Girls’ Generation is going to release a Japanese version of “Oh!” because I am so curious to find out how pretty good the Japanese version will be. And I can’t wait for the MV to come out this Friday because I know that it will be pretty good just like the MV for the original Korean version
it seems a little late that they’re releasing a jap ver now…but i’ve always wanted to heard oh! in japanese, so i’m happy.
So how will the song go?… Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oniichan~ ;))
The song probably won’t be as good in Japanese, but the video will great. All the Japanese videos have been great. I loved the Oh! video and it was what got me hooked on SNSD, so I’m looking forward to seeing some slightly more mature cheerleaders.
I really don’t know what to say but i really am looking forward to the 2nd Jap album.
I honestly love their 1st Jap album
Well, it has been quite a few years since “Oh!” was released by Soshi, so, be that as it may, I’m pretty sure the now more “mature” Soshi ladies will give a brand new “spin” to this all time favourite tune of theirs :).
I, for one, am so looking forward to it :D.
SNSD jjang !
i don know what i feel but i don really like this idea i thought that SM will give us an interesting song but not the remake song. i’m happy but i’m also upset at the same time and i scar that this album will not be that great.
1st Japan album had 4 remake and it was a fantastic album, and we only have one remake for the 2nd Japan album so far. and Oh! is a very good song.
Wow, such a long time since ‘Oh’. It was quite a successful MV so I never realised that there is no Japanese version. I am actuallt very curious to see how different the girls look inthe new MV. It’s been probably 2 or 3 years already. wonder if they change alot. I always hope for their korean comeback.
Oh, when times like this, how I wish to live in Korea and Japan.
OMGOMGOMG A NEW MV OF MY FAVORITE MV!! xDD and i was just wondering yesterday why there’s no jap version of oh! o3o i’m positive it won’t be as good as the kor version but it will be so epic. i’m so excited for this >w<
i dont know why but i have a feeling that oh! japanese version would not be better than korean
but i think the album will be great!^^
