Recently, pictures titled, “Girls’ Generation civilian force, the importance of high-heels” were posted in an online community board.
In the revealed picture, it shows a performance that Girls’ Generation performed in the past at a baseball field with checkered shirts and roll-up jeans. In contrast with the recent girl groups with their dizzying high-heels, Girls’ Generation is drawing attention to their sneakers and showing the attractiveness of a “So-nyuh”, just like their group name.
People who saw this had varying comments, saying, “They are totally ‘So-nyuhs’ without their heels”,”Their proportions changed drastically”, “They’re petite and cute”, “The reason that the girl groups cannot let go of high-heels”.
Girls’ Generation is expected to end 2011 by performing on all three broadcasting stations’ year-end music programs with “The Boys” and “MR.TAXI”.

They were also showing with these pics that they are normal womem! Maybe more talented? In other areas only, cause you can rock out the medicine (example) and be the next hero of humanity! They rock out our hearts with their awsome songs with AWSOME MESSAGES!

I thought they changed. But they did not! I've analysed they're words. They're lyrics. The reason why they made the eng lyrics was because they needed to release their selfs in America and they knew they wouldn't be 100% successful if they didn't made something like it.

The girls need to just go with what they like. It’s good to work on changing the image a bit as they get older, can’t be teenagers forever. But it is really great to seem them casual and cute too. Hope they don’t get too far away from what got us all loving them so much anytime soon.

This irritates me immensely. Why do they always have to look perfect and wear heels? Why can’t they look cute and comfortable? Why do people expect them to be perfect? NO ONE is perfect. Netizens need to get that through their thick-ass skulls. Personally, I like them in sneakers more to begin with. They still look pretty as usual. So what if they’re short? They’re still pretty and everything else about them makes up way more for their height – which isn’t even a big deal. They DO NOT NEED heels. They already have nicer legs than many people anyways, despite the length. Also, half of SNSD are tall and the other half may not be as tall, but if you average up their height, it would turn out average.

That is how famous they are, they just wear sneaker on football field (which Is normal thing to do) attract a lot of attention. They look gorgeoussss in anything they wear, cloth doesn’t make people look more beautiful it is the people who made clothes look more beautiful, I don’t know if other people agree to it or not. It that phrase totally apply to my 9 gorgeous angles. Right now it’ s Girls’ Generation. Forever it’s Girls’ Generation.

I think they look comfortable. When I look at some of their heels with 5 or 6 inch heels I wonder how they can be safe on stage! I prefer them in sneakers. And they look more relate-able in sneakers since they are not towering over me.

I think they look more cute and more girls in here.. Maybe if they wear a heel in the yard like that it will be a trouble so they wear a sneaker instead.. But, i like it better this way

I may be a little biased….but I would be mesmerized watching Soshi if they were wearing pink fuzzy bunny slippers and an ugly old housecoat! High heels definitely have a purpose. They make a person be very careful with their balance and posture (no slouching) and they can give a larger than life appearance. They also accent body lines and make legs look longer. They are great for optical illusions. Plus they can be built specifically for each girl and can compensate for any height differentials and make them look more uniformly even height-wise. I love seeing the girls in high-heels (what grown man wouldn’t.) I’ve heard it said that the clothes make the man (or woman). But in the case of our angels…it is not true…our angels make the cloths.

lol this looks like an old performance photo of our girls, so adorable. I must say I don’t think I’ve seen this performance yet. Anyway I like that they don’t always perform in heels back then, they have more power in their moves and don’t have to worry about tripping over. I wish they would get more sneakers performance like they did for OH! promotions. It’s a lot of pressure on Soshi to keep up their images on stage but they can still do it even when they’re wearing comfy outfits and shoes. SNSD jjang! Thanks for sharing SSF :D
