Girls’ Generation is currently nominated in three categories for the “28th Golden Disk Awards”: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and the Popularity Award. Winners will be decided based on fan voting, album sales, and the judges’ opinions.

Fans all around the world now have the ability to vote for Girls’ Generation in the three categories, with a focus on the Popularity Award. Using an Android device, an official “Golden Disk Awards Global” app is available for download at the Google Play store. After downloading the app, click on the “Charge” button at the bottom of the screen to like and share the “Golden Disk Awards” Facebook page and earn an “event vote”. Afterwards, click on the “Vote” button to show the different categories of the “Golden Disk Awards” to vote in, located on the top of the screen.

Though Girls’ Generation is listed in three categories, be sure to vote only in the “Most/Popular Star” tab, as the winner of the category is determined entirely by fan votes.
