Girls’ Generation has just released the dance version of the “LOVE&GIRLS” music video. Like the version of the music video aired on SSTV, the dance version features the members of Girls’ Generation in bright, funky outfits, this time showing off the entire choreography of the “shampoo dance”. The extras seen in the first version, made up of entirely of SONEs, are seen again in the dance version, cheering and dancing in the background and foreground.
“LOVE&GIRLS”, Girls’ Generation’s seventh Japanese single, will be released in Japan on June 19th. The single is currently available for pre-order, and purchase links can be found here.

I like the dance version better but both versions are good.
Both versions are good, but I like this better since it gets right to the song. Isn’t that the Canadian $ sign with two lines on Sunny’s shirt? Heading to Canada soon?

Having watched each version several times, my producer’s mind has waken up to look at them from a technical viewpoint.
Looks like 4 or 5 complete run-throughs, and at least as many times for each version that they shot only a partial performance. One of those looks like they only used about 5 seconds of it. Good camera work, good editing. Different enough from the other version that each can stand alone. I can visualize a couple of shots that I would have done which aren’t in either version (I would have done a bit more with the crowd, especially the youngest SONEs). It would be interesting to see the raw footage and see if those shots are in there but were not used.

Taeyeon’s latest instagram pic shows a new promo pic for SNSD concerts in Seoul this weekend.
She told fans to get whistles and memorize shampoo dance from Love&Girls song, because they are planning to give the first performance of Love&Girls in the concert!
I wonder if that means they are going to sing the song in Korean, like how they first performed Mr. Taxi Korean version in their last concert in Seoul.

The first version we saw is called “SPOT version” and this is the Dance version. The MV that will be included in limited edition of Love&Girls album will surely be another version, since they delayed the album’s release to try some new experimental stuff for the MV.
