Starting this upcoming June, Girls’ Generation is planning on going on a world tour, “2013 Girls’ Generation’s World Tour – Girls & Peace”, starting in Seoul and going around Asia as well as the entire world. The hot response from fans in Korea as well as other countries who have waited for Girls’ Generation’s performances is being anticipated.
The Seoul concerts, which will start the world tour, will take place at the Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park on June 8th and 9th. It is expected that Girls’ Generation will show off a high quality concert, showing their own different performances and diverse charms, captivating fans.
As this solo concert will be the first one in two years following the July 2011 “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour” and will be their first world tour, an explosive response is expected. Girls’ Generation recently finished their second Japan arena tour, entertaining a record number of over 200,000 fans.
The Seoul concert tickets will go on sale online starting on May 9th at 8pm KST through G-Market. As Girls’ Generation is a group that has a lot of ticket power, it’s predicted the ticketing will be fierce.
Meanwhile, for the Seoul concert an overseas fan tour is in the plans, and the overseas fan tour package can be purchased through SM C&C’s site. It will be available for purchase by fans all around the world, and it is expected that overseas fans’ attentions will be centered [on this concert as well].

I’ve been to SM Town 2010 & 2012 but to have a solo concert just for them.. AHHH!

I think my tix for SMTown in 2010 was about 180 bucks. I would imagine decent seats will be at least that much, probably more, honestly.

Holly Molly SM and SNSD are really truly going to do this. yes Sones have been waiting for years for this kind of tour to happen. i hope this World Tour become hugely successful. Sones are going to paint the world with pink. oh gawd i wonder which states these babies are going to hold their World Tour. i know that 100% California and New York definitely will be on their list. gawd i hope i get to go at least NY which is closer to me. i’m also guessing that SM probably figure it’s the right time to do this tour (you know with the girls about to challenge the International market). good play SM and way to go in biding your time.
