Jessica States, “I’ve Been Practicing My Cooking Lately.”

Jessica recently posted a short blog post on Girls’ Generation’s official website in which she discussed how she has been spending her free time lately. In the post, she said, “Anytime we have a break in our schedules, I study cookbooks and if we’re at home I experiment with cooking different things.” Jessica said that the reason why she’s been so focused on improving her cooking skills is because she is tired of her reputation as a poor cook.

“After our appearances on ‘Hello Baby’ and ‘Running Man’, it became very obvious to everyone that I was a bad cook. I wanted to improve myself so that I could help out the other Girls’ Generation members at home,” said Jessica. She continued, “I wanted to be able to cook something wonderful for my fellow members so that they could relax and enjoy a nice meal at home after our schedules.”

Jessica revealed one of her tricks to improving her culinary skills as she said, “One important thing to remember is that, in order to make food that others will enjoy, you have to have a strong developed sense of what good food tastes likes. With this in mind, I’ve been sampling many different varieties of food in order to become a taste expert.”

Jessica finished the post by saying, “Lately, I’ve been focusing on how to prepare tasty and savory meats, so I’ve been eating a lot of different meat dishes made with beef, pork, chicken, and even a few unusual meats.”

Jessica included this selca of herself sampling one of the “unusual meats”.
