Yoona Discusses Regrets From Her Past

Girls’ Generation’s Yoona was recently interviewed following the end of “Love Rain”. In the interview, she discussed a variety of topics including several regrets that she has regarding her past. Yoona said, “I’m so grateful for everything that I’ve been able to experience as a member of Girls’ Generation. Still, there are a few things that I wish I had been able to do when I was younger.”

She went to say, “I started as a trainee at a relatively young age, so even though I had many normal experiences as a child and as a teenager, there were many things that I still never got a chance to do.” Many reacted with surprise as Yoona continued, “I actually never even learned how to swim. As a child, I never took swimming lessons, and then once I became a trainee I had to fully dedicate myself to becoming the best singer and dancer I could be, so I didn’t have time to learn how to swim.”

Yoona finished by saying, “I still would like to learn how to swim, but I’m afraid to get in the water. Even if the pool is very small and the water is not deep at all, I still get nervous, and if I try to get in I can’t keep the worried expression off of my face.”

Author’s note: The inflatable pool was actually a gift from Soshified for their 1st anniversary.
