On June 19th, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny appeared as a contestant on KBS 2TV’s “1 vs. 100”, making an attempt at the 50 million won prize money. During the broadcast, Sunny revealed her thoughts of wanting to be active as Girls’ Generation for a long time.
Sunny said, “It’s Girls’ Generation’s fifth anniversary soon,” as she referred to her debut in the nine-member Girls’ Generation in 2007 with their single album “Into the New World”. The show’s MC, announcer Han Seokjun, asked, “How many more years do you think you can promote as Girls’ Generation for?” Sunny replied, “If we maintain our first intentions in our hearts, I think we will be able to be active as Girls’ Generation for ten or more years.”
She added, “It’s most rewarding when I hear that fans gained strength from watching Girls’ Generation. Girls’ Generation will put on more performances to give you strength so you can say those things for a long long time.” Sunny was eliminated during the sixth stage during the episode.

Ten years is a very long time, but I will support all the girls for as long as they remain together as well as support them during their solo and sub unit groups. Girls Generation isn’t like other girl groups which is why I love them and I hope Sunny is right! Hehe. The Power Of 9 forever! :D
I really hope Soshi can last longer than that. They are talented and kind-hearted people. Time flies so fast! It’s gonna be their 5th anniversary soon and I’ve none them for 3 years already. Even though I didn’t know them from the start but as time goes by, my love for them just keeps on growing.

Sunny, you could not be more right. Every group or band starts out with the intention of lasting forever. They honestly have good intentions for everyone in the band and want everyone in the group to succeed. That is why bands seem so promising at first. You think there could be no end with this teamwork, this enthusisam. And people love them for it. This is why we love SNSD. However, most groups have what may be only one, but someone nonetheless, that becomes diverted by fame and vanity. They forget the core concepts, putting others before self, that got them where they are today. Sunny is right. If SNSD wants to make their tenth anniversary, they have to stay true to those values that they had when they first debuted and have gotten them to where they are now. Only as nine will they last that long. Only as nine.

i love the way Sunny thought of Girls’ Generation…she’s right about it, i fell sick for more than 10 days..i watched SoShi’s songs and their variety shows, those all made me gained strength..i smiled and laughed much when i watched their innocent talks and attitudes…these 9 girls really angels who brought happiness for others…i just can pray all the best for them…may they always health and happy forever…God bless them..always…
