On January 15th, girl group Girls’ Generation successfully finished their first concert in Hong Kong.
Girls’ Generation captivated fans during the “2012 Girls’ Generation Tour in Hong Kong” held in the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Arena with various performances and stage displays.
According to SM Entertainment, hundreds of fans waited at the Hong Kong International Airport on January 14th for the arrival of Girls’ Generation at the late hour of 11:30PM. Various media and news agencies also competed for coverage of the event.
Girls’ Generation opened the concert with “Tell Me Your Wish” and continued with hit songs such as “MR. TAXI”, “Oh!”, “Gee”, and “The Boys”. They also put on solo stages where fans could experience the individual personalities of all nine members. 32 stages were performed in total.
Fans in Hong Kong also prepared a surprise event for Girls’ Generation. During “Complete”, they moved the girls’ hearts by holding up papers that read “You + Me = Complete”. After the last song “Fantastic”, fans also threw symbolic pink balloons up into the air and flooded the arena with pink.
Girls’ Generation’s next concert tour stop will be in Thailand in February.

I totally agree with erdaa_andwae. A lot of blogs about SNSD are made by mostly Indonesians and I’ve been to Bali before. A couple of super popular Facebook pages have the most Indonesian fans, plus I’ve sure SNSD would enjoy relaxing at a beach just for fun and to cool off. All the members of SNSD with long hair could get their hair braided by professionals, and they’d look beautiful – as always, actually. If anyone agrees with me, could you guys please reply? I’m kind of new to soshified, thank you very much. I’m proud to be a SONE! By the way, I created a couple of SNSD GIFs but they kind of suck. >.<
I went to the concert Yesterday. I waited in line for 8 hours and there were already many other SONES there waiting when I got there. It was absolutely crazy but worth it. The girls were all very pretty ( as usual) and did an amazing job. They spoke a lot of English (Sunny said that we were awesome :D) and even sang The Boys in English. It was freaken adorable. They teared up a bit :(, but I hope they had an amazing time in Hong Kong!

*sigh if only I can go. Please let SM let them hold solo tours in the states. I’ll try to be extremely patient for you girls. I freaking loved it, an awesome experience. Seeing Sooyoung tear up and cheering so much I have now officially lost my voice. No words can really describe the feeling, smiling for the whole duration of the concert and being totally crazy with the fan chants.
If anyone has a choice to actually go and see a SNSD concert, just go for it, it’s totally worth it even if you have to wait for 8+ hours just to get in. If you loved SNSD before, after a 3 hour concert of waving and sweating you will just totally go into another whole new level of love. I have not loved them this much after being there and seeing them speak, play with each other and being emotional because the SONEs planned little events for them.
It’s amazing. Just, amazing. Despite their extremely busy schedule I hope they do get some rest before going to the next stop and hopefully coming back again to Hong Kong.
I am so anticipating the experience myself.

I have been so waiting for the chance to go and see them in person myself, and now I have the chance on February 12.

It’s not Hong Kong’s choice to copy, SM made their schedule for the show. A lot of the performances were actually performed before in the SBS Christmas special. But still, it was awesome.
Sry if I was unclear but I was talking about the fan event.
We know that the the idea of holding up papers is created by Singapore first, but HKSone just wanted to make our best to do it. And, we’ve created many new ideas, such as a “layering” of Pink Ocean at the beginning of Genie[although, it may not be so obvious], and yelling ” SONE bring the Girls out!” after Forever, before the encore.
Anyway, every SONEs hope to do our best, so, please don’t say we copied, and appreciate the effort HK Sones.

1st of all S.K. aka South Korea S♥NEs created the paper event for their girls, please DO NOT forget that. 2nd Taiwan S♥NEs did their pink ribbons and whatever else they did for the girls, 3rd Singapore S♥NEs did their paper event for the girls and now 4th Hong Kong S♥NEs did their paper event and pink balloons for the girls. C’mon now and stop saying who copy who first because it’s a special meaningful thing to the girls and to S♥NEs. :)
