On December 24th, Girls’ Generation performed on MBC’s Music Core for a special Christmas episode. With Tiffany and Yuri hosting the show as usual, the show featured many groups performing songs for the winter season, as well as some of their best hits of the year.

In a special performance with Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in and Secret’s Ji Eun, Jessica and Seohyun performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, in which they showed off their powerful vocals. Adorned in elegant white dresses, they delivered a beautiful rendition of the classic Christmas song, causing the audience to cheer and give their support.

For their group stage, Girls’ Generation performed “The Boys”, which Tiffany gave a holiday spin by saying “Merry Christmas” in the beginning of the song. All nine members were present for the performance, to the delight of fans who responded with loud screams and fanchants. Viewers of the show also expressed their excitement through Twitter, as “SNSD – The Boys” trended in fourth place worldwide.

Finally, all of the artists, including Girls’ Generation, concluded the show by singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. Check out “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “The Boys”, and the finale of the show below.
