After gaining lots of love as the laidback, lively “Soonkyu” in the first season last year, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny has returned to “Invincible Youth 2”.
Being called by her real name, Soonkyu, in the first season, Sunny gained the support of town elders by catching chickens with her hands and accomplishing various farm work. Sunny created a new standard for girl group idols as a true farming-dol.
With her popularity from the previous season, she has joined season two’s G8 as the “Return of Soonkyu”. Other G8 members were jealous of her unchanged awareness and variety show skills, as well as working skills that the new members could not match.
Fellow Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon is joining Sunny on the show, which airs its first episode this week on November 12th at 11:05pm KST on KBS2 TV.

I am so glad she is back and it makes sense. They need to be able to have someone there who can teach the new comers and since it sounds like not even the old MCs are coming back, Sunny is the best choice. She will be entertaining, informative, and since it seems to be taking place in a new environment, also able to learn like everyone else! go Sunny go! Go Hyo go!

Finished watching the first 32 episodes of IY’s first season in preparation for the season 2.
Can’t wait to see Sunny teaching other G8 members and showing her skills as chicken-catcher Soonkyu. Also, can’t wait to see Hyoyeon to show her variety show skills.
The first season is really awesome.. Sunny really did stand out among the rest,. Looking forward to the mood maker funny hyo.. This is gonna be so much fun.. :)

I love Sunny but why is she on the show? but its alright she is funny and cute.

Can’t wait to watch invincible youth season 2 on kbs world! I just hope it has a replay on weekends so i could watch :) but to he honest, i still wish our soonkyu was with her sunbyung couple hyomin, haragoo, yoochigego’s daughter-in-law Yuri, whiny hyuna, blank seonhwa and adult-dol narsha. I miss the original G7 members with kim tae woo and kim shinyoung. I hope they will guest on the show. It feels different with the new G8 but i am looking forward to sunny, hyoyeon, jiyoung and suzy on the show ^_^
