SMTOWN’s winter album, “2011 SMTOWN Winter ‘The Warmest Gift'”, will be released on the 13th.
This album will be the first SMTOWN winter album since 2007, and will feature KangTa, BoA, TVXQ, TRAX, Dana&Sunday (The Grace), Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), Jan Riin, J-min, and other SM artists.
The album will contain seven winter-themed songs, as well as four remakes of famous carols, such as “Last Christmas” and “Sleigh Ride”, for a total of eleven tracks.
“Diamond” will be Girls’ Generation’s solo song on the album and is said to be a familiar-sounding and luxuriously-styled pop song. It will give the warm, happy feeling of winter and express it in Girls’ Generation’s own way.

It won’t be the same as previous SMTOWN albums as there are no collaborative tracks. Each song is sung by one group/singer only.

It’s been awhile since they released an album featuring all of the company’s artists. I will looking forward to this day. Hopefully I will purchase it when is’ available :)

the warmest gift..hmm the snow made me think of sica at first, but then i realised that she is so warm that her nickname dosent really suit her anymore haha..would really wanna gt this as an xmas present ^^ cant think of a better way to celebrate then with our girls ^^ cant wait..SOSHi fighitng!¬

I’m not sure, but were the girls in the 2007 SM winter album? I can’t recall.
I don’t know how it’ll be distributed, but if there are 7 solo songs, maybe:
1. Kangta + BoA duet, 2. DBSK + CSJH collab, 3. TRAX, 4. SNSD, 5. f(x), 6. SuJu, 7. SHINee
Since they haven’t done one in a while, I hope SM can make this album stand out ^_^
And no repackages, please. That would be awkward selling Christmas music during Valentines or something…
