Sooyoung and actor Oh Sangjin have been chosen to host the “2015 Korea Drama Awards”. The award ceremony will take place October 9th, 6 PM KST, at the Gyeongnam Culture and Art Center. The “Korea Drama Awards” is an annual event honoring excellence in television in South Korea, with nominees from major broadcasting networks and cable channels.

Sooyoung has had extensive MC experience in the past, having hosted SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment”, the “2014 Miss Korea Contest”, the “2013 Women’s Film Festival”, the “Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival”, and more. Oh Sangjin had served as MC for the “Korea Drama Awards” in both 2013 and 2014, making this his third consecutive year. He has also hosted events with other Girls’ Generation members in the past, including the “2014 Miss Korea Contest” with Sooyoung, the “3rd Gaon K-Pop Chart Awards” with Yuri, and the “28th Golden Disk Awards” with Taeyeon and Tiffany.
