On September 13th, Girls’ Generation appeared on SBS’s “Inkigayo” to promote “Lion Heart” for the last time on Korea’s weekly music shows. Girls’ Generation closed the show with the “Lion Heart” goodbye stage and also was announced as the winner of this week’s “Inkigayo”, taking first place. This was the third win in a row on “Inkigayo” for “Lion Heart”, marking a triple crown and removing the song from eligibility for further wins on the music program. Seohyun gave tonight’s acceptance speech, and as always, gave her thanks to Girls’ Generation’s fans and staff.

Throughout the comeback, Girls’ Generation placed first once each on SBS MTV’s “The Show”, MBC’s “Show Champion”, “Show! Music Core”, and three times each on Mnet’s “M! Countdown”, KBS’s “Music Bank”, and SBS’s “Inkigayo”, for a total of twelve wins. Girls’ Generation scored the fifth highest score of 2015 on “Music Bank”, the fourth highest score of 2015 on “Inkigayo”, and the two highest scores of all time on “M! Countdown”. “Lion Heart” was also the highest selling album on the Gaon album chart for the month of August and the second highest on the Hanteo chart for the same time period.
