Update from October 19th, 2013:
Mnet aired its segment with Tiffany and actor Tom Hiddleston on “Wide Entertainment News” this past October 18th. Despite the rain forcing the two indoors for a bit, they were eventually able to tour Seoul together. Tiffany also interviewed the actor on range of topics, with Tiffany later mentioning that the other Girls’ Generation members are fans of Tom’s work.

On October 15th, Tiffany filmed an appearance for Mnet’s “Wide Entertainment News” with actor Tom Hiddleston. The episode with Tiffany and Tom Hiddleston will be broadcast on October 18th.
SM Entertainment’s SMTOWNGLOBAL Twitter account posted two photos of Tiffany and the well-known actor, and Tom Hiddleston posted a photo on whosay, captioned “I met the lovely Tiffany from Girls’ Generation yesterday & she showed me around Seoul. #LokiInKorea”.

On October 15th, Tiffany will record an appearance with Tom Hiddleston, an English actor known for several roles, including Loki in Marvel Universe films “Thor” and “The Avengers”. The variety show will feature a “Seoul vacation” concept in which Tiffany will act as a reporter for Mnet’s “Wide Entertainment News” and introduce the actor to landmarks in downtown Seoul. However, there is a chance the episode’s concept may change due to inclement weather. The broadcast date for the episode has not yet been determined.
This is the second time that Girls’ Generation’s resident English speaker has recently been called on to record a show with a foreign celebrity, after interviewing Brad Pitt on “Midnight TV Entertainment” in June of this year.

Beyond being a native English speaker, Fany is a natural ambassador… she is sweet, warm, and extremely outgoing and friendly. There are a lot of native/fluent English speakers in Korean entertainment, but someone realizes, correctly, nobody is better than Fany for this type of thing.

There’re many many idols, many good English spokesperson in the entertainment worlds, but our girls are always the one that get the chance. Yuri n Hyoyeon Unnie for Dancing 9, Tiffany Unnie for this. Why it’s always the girls? I dt know too. If we talk abt talent, that’s bcos they’ve been in the field for quite long so everything come out naturally.
The reasons that come to my mind now are : they have alot of experiences, the loyalty in them, the love they have for their careers (the stage seems like a amusement park to them, they enjoy it, they feel it, that’s why us, the fans can feel it) I have watched many many talented shows of Korean, all the judges always say IF YOU DON’T EVEN ENJOY THE STAGE HOW CAN YOU LET THE VIEWER ENJOY IT? and especially they attracted the fans over the world with thier real talented in music, and best of the best is the love between 9 of them.
I love how you say the stage is their like amusement park. That is really so spot on. And I have to say, one reason they get chosen for things like this is bcuz they are the number one girl group in Korea, they are the top dogs so to speak. But they did get that status by everything you mentioned. :) I love when they get the opportunity to spread Soshi Awareness globally.
Andie Cassiv yes that’s right they’re the top girl group in Korea, once u talk abt Kpop girl group u can’t miss SNSD. They represent to Korean Culture n they never let Korean nation down, to speak they’re high-class idol. No bad rumors, no serious scandal, no argument good manner, never get much influence from anti-fans, never let anyone feel bad or uncomfortable around them, they’re not arrogant type of person, they respect their works. To sum up I love everything about them n really hope SNSD will be the longest idol ever, longer than Shinwha’s 14 years, more than 20. Yeah there’s nothing last forever but even if they stop from the entertainment world, i hope everyone still remember that there’s a group called Girls’ Generation (So Nyeo Shi Dae) that debut in 05, August, 2007 which consists 9 beautiful ladies.
