On June 20th Oricon released their sales ranking numbers for the first half of 2012, and Girls’ Generation’s blu-ray and DVD sales placed in second and fourth in their respective categories.
The “Girls’ Generation First Japan Tour” DVD sold 148,718 copies to rank in fourth place. The blu-ray version sold around 56,000 copies to place in 2nd.
Also ranking in on Oricon’s sales chart was Girls’ Generation’s first Japanese album “Girls’ Generation”. The album placed in eleventh and sold a total of 209,679 copies in the first half of 2012. The album was released over a year ago on June 1st, 2011.

Does anyone know how to watch paparazzi in laptop with region code 1??? because the dvd is on region code 2 :(..I ordered it already, but I’m scared that I’m not able to watch it
Search for the dvd drive model and google for a region free firmware. Then flash the drive and it will make the drive “region free” meaning it will play any dvd from any region code. You will need a dvd software that is region free also, you can try vlc player its free.
Although the DVD and your laptop’s DVD drive is region coded differently, I think you can play it just fine using any multimedia playback software.
Problem should arrive if it was a dedicated DVD player though.
Almost all the DVD drive does play the DVD no matter what region coded that there is to the DVD. Media players that I would recommend for you to use is VLC, Media player classic, or Window Media Player.

Its something I learned here in soshified, we do not really need to compete in numbers, nor host a mv viewing drive, when we see the girls perform and they are happy with it, we are happy as well. :)

many flashes in the pan, but the great entertainers have staying
power. they are here for the long haul. we have all become accustom
to the girls dominating charts when their albums and such are
initially released, which a lot of groups have done, but it’s news like
this…the dominance that the girls are showing, even after the initial
boost from release, that indicates the level of entertainers that they are.
