New Sunny Holiday Celebrated Around the World
All across the globe, a new holiday centered around Girls’ Generation’s Sunny was celebrated over the weekend. SONEs and non-SONEs alike gathered together for the occasion and celebrated in a multitude of ways. Many had elaborate meals together, while others played traditional holiday games that had been modified to match the spirit of the new holiday.
Historical experts noted, “In the past, this particular weekend had been marked by another famous holiday, but this new Sunny day has become more popular recently, and many people even choose to combine the two together.” Historians also noted the similarities between the holiday that is traditionally celebrated this weekend and the new Sunny day by saying, “One of the activities that people often participate in for the old holiday involves hunting for special colored eggs. In this new Sunny day, people try to get others to give them some egg, yo.”
Finally, Sunny herself was asked about the popularity of her new holiday. She responded, “It’s surprising to me, but I’m very flattered. Someone told me that the reason for this holiday has something to do with one of my nicknames, but I’m just happy that I’m helping Girls’ Generation gain recognition around the world.” Sunny even participated in the holiday fun by showing fans some special Easter egg, yo.

Very clever word play!!! This wasn’t typical, obvious word play, this was really out of the box! I could have never though about it!
