Girls’ Generation’s Play Time Gets Interrupted by Fansigning
Girls’ Generation recently spent some time out together to relax as a group. The girls enjoyed coffee together and playfully drew on the walls of the venue where they were hanging out. Their relaxation time was interrupted, however, by a spontaneous and unplanned fansigning. A large crowd of fans and surprisingly well-prepared photographers gathered around the girls despite the fact that the girls were simply out together drinking coffee and drawing on the walls.
Fan accounts described the girls as very cheerful and playful, although many fans noted that the girls seemed surprised that an organized fansigning sprung up around them while they were relaxing together. One fan said, “They were playing with each other in such a cute manner, and they were drawing a lot of things. Yuri and Seohyun were smiling very brightly as they drew together on the same wall. For some reason, the girls really seemed to enjoy drawing cats.”
Sooyoung was quoted as saying, “It was so shocking. I was so absorbed in my drawing that when I turned around, I suddenly realized that we were surrounded by fans and photographers. Tables, barriers, and even professional sound systems and microphones had been set up out of nowhere.”
Sooyoung continued, “It was definitely a lot of fun to relax with all the other members, and it was great to meet so many of our fans even though we didn’t plan on it. My only regret was that I couldn’t finish my portrait of Sunny. I only got to draw her teeth before the fans started to approach us!”

I love the idea of this! I didn’t laugh as much on the first read through but as I sit here thinking on it again and imagining the girls shock as all this stuff appears out of nowhere for a fansign, well…..my cheeks hurt with my laughter! I love it so much!

Haha.. this was awesome! I loved seeing more and more pictures of the grafitti come out. I love when the Girls can show their dorky and playful side in public. I wish those darn fans would have just left them alone instead of making them sign things, WAE U NO LET THEM FINISH their drawings!!! ;)

even though they weren’t winning an award, breaking a
record, or playing some ridiculous venue, they were just
girls having fun. with all their success, these moments
have become more and more rare. so whenever they have
time to sneak in a gesture that reminds us all that we are
not supporting nine incredibly talented idols, but also nine
incredibly adorable girls, we should cherish it. and this was
just top-notch adorkable snsd. :-)
