Supearls and Girls’ Generation have met. On an upcoming episode of SBS “Survival Audition K-Pop Star” (“K-Pop Star”), the meeting between Girls’ Generation and Supearls, who rearranged and showed a perfect performance of “The Boys” in a past episode, will be revealed.
Girls’ Generation made a surprise visit to contestants who were chosen to train under SM. The contestants were surprised and expressed their happy hearts by saying, “It feels like my heart is going to stop. I feel more nervous than when I’m auditioning.” In particular, Lee Michelle, Park Jimin, Lee Seungjoo, and Lee Jungmi, the members of Supearls, were chosen in the casting audition finals by Boa and have been receiving special training under SM. Because of this, the meeting between them and Girls’ Generation gained attention.
In reality, Girls’ Generation showed special interest in Supearls before even meeting them. Supearls reunited to sing “The Boys” in front of Girls’ Generation. Upon witnessing their skills, Girls’ Generation members commented, “They sing better than us.” A staff member stated, “With the appearance of Girls’ Generation, the contestants’ fighting spirit towards their goals have become stronger. They will gain an extra week of training during this second time around, unlike the first training period.”

SuPearls definitely have talent! I listened to their cover a few weeks back, and I was astonished. *o* But, to me, SNSD will always sing ‘The Boys’ the best. My humble girls, though. ♥

It’s completely different. Soshi is a pop-idol performance group. Looks is top notch (not just “prettiness”… but their aura. Their dance, their vocal… somehow it just comes together to charisma). ‘Goddess’ aura, or untouchable aura?
For SuPearls, they’re clearly a singing group. I can’t say whether they will become a group (although I think I’d love that, just by seeing how they work together in the group.) Their entire performance is their voice, and their ‘look’, their charisma, comes from their entire immersion into a vocal performance.
Can’t say it much more coherently. I’m looking forward to this meeting :)

I am a huge fan of SuPearls. I can’t wait for Sunday to come. I am glad they got to sit down with SNSD.
The black girl…her name is Lee Michelle. Boa casted her into SM for two weeks. Lee Michelle and Park Jimin are the judges top 2 favorites. But all three judges love the SuPearls. The SuPearls keep surpassing their expectations.

This is awesome and good for SM on their part for taking this group under their wings and going to fine tune them properly. Um I really hope SM keep these 4 ladies as a group. It’d be so sad if they don’t. Also nice of Soshi for stopping by between their busy schedule to pay a visit to this rookie group. See how freaking selfless these 9 angels are? They are praising a rookie group and even saying how the girls even sings better than them. Now you tell me which other idol singer(s) out there would do something like that? I’m glad these 4 ladies after meeting with SNSD are motivated and have the fighting will to work harder and make their dreams a reality. Hwaiting Supearl! SNSD Saranghaeyo forever!

they’re very talented young ladies…though it takes more than talent alone to be successful in harsh ent industry, especially perseverance which is one the star qualities that soshi possessed

just to address a question i sort of had as well…
i have also heard that sm is slightly racist (or you
can insert whatever politically-correct term you
want there, this is just my viewpoint) when casting
talent, but when you have the sheer talent that
any of these girls have, regardless of race, you can’t
turn it down otherwise you are a really poor record
label. i’ll admit, even though i see sm as slightly racist,
they sure know how to pick their talent, so they
weren’t going to pass up this amazing group. great
job girls!!! (first time saying that of anyone but snsd LOL)

I loved this remix when I first say it and even then I wondered what SNSD thought of the nice remix. I think it’s really great!
Also – Does anyone have any information on the girls? I am curious about the black girl. I’ve always though SM (despite saying any race) was only looking toward those who looked Asian so I am surprised to see that she is being trained along with the rest of her group. (I am glad they got through though. I think they will be really good if they ever debut)
