Girls’ Generation’s third studio album, “The Boys”, has been flying off the shelves. In the first two weeks since its release, the album has soared past the 75,000 units sold mark on the Hanteo chart.
As of the time of this article, “The Boys” has over 84,000 albums sold on the chart. Along with the Gaon chart, Hanteo is one of the main music charts in Korea that tracks album sales.
The title track from the album continues to be a huge hit on Youtube as well. The Korean version of “The Boys” just recently passed 15 million views, proving itself to be one of the most popular music videos.
International fans are starting to receive their albums from Korea. With all the random photocards and posters, which members have you gotten?

I just received my copy of the album today with a TaeYeon card, yay. Still waiting on the poster, but I am enjoying listening to the album as I type this.
I got mine in on Monday with Taeyeon and Fany Fany Tiffany! I haven’t stopped listening to the album since I got it! Great job girls! Looking forward to the promotional work they’ll do!

I got my CD and poster last week. I got Hyoyeon photocard and YoonA poster. Because I really wanted Sooyoung, I ordered her poster and it shipped yesterday.
I got Tiffany photo card and poster. My bro got sooyoung card and Yuri poster. We ordered together so I got to pick first.

Hopefully it’ll reach 100k soon.

I finally got my album yesterday! I got a Tiffany poster and a Yoon trading card! I am so excited to blare this in my car! Let’s keep up the support and make record-breaking albums a common theme for our girls!!!

Amazing and hope it continue to dominate the weekly charts. Good job SONEs, we are making our girls proud. I know it would’ve been over a 100k+ the first week but because of what the projects doing to help the girls stay longer on music charts prevents it from reaching that number. I bought 3 copies and I got Taeyeon poster and Sooyoung, Yuri and Seohyun trading cards. I’m still waiting on yesasia to send me the poster that’s suppose to come seperate. I’m also thinking of buying more copies just to try and get all nine trading cards and individual posters. I really want this album to sell over 500k+ copies. Thanks SSF! :)
Thank God the album available in the stores back in my country. No need to spend so much on shipping although the price were marked up quite high by the local retailer.
