With the debut of the 9 membered group SNSD last August, SNSD has had one hit after another starting
with ‘Into the New World’ to “Girls Generation’ to ‘Kissing You’.
With the Lunar New Years, StarNews have individually interviewed each member of SNSD, who have been
bringing joy to their younger (brothers & sisters), older (brothers & sisters), soldiers, uncles fans of all
ages.
Following Questions & Answers from SooYoung:
– Where and what do you plan to do this Luna New Years? And if you had to choose the one thing you
wanted to do the most during the holiday?
▶ Because we haven’t had a break in such a long time, I think if it means spending time with my family,
whatever we do will be fun. I would like to relax at home watching TV, eating the rice cake soup my mom
makes, and go sledding.
– Any memorable moments during the Lunar New Years until now?
▶ When I was young, I cried for 3 days-straight after losing all of my Lunar New Years money. haha
– After your debut last August and becoming a singer, this is the first Lunar New Years and I imagine it
feels different. How do you feel this Lunar New Years?
▶ When I met up with my family during the past Lunar New Years, our main conversation topic would
always be about my debut. For the past 7 years, ‘when will you debut’ is all they asked. (I actually wanted
to run away from it ~hehe). However for this Lunar New Years, I think it’ll be full of SNSD discussion so
I’m happy and excited about it.
– If you can introduce one thing the whole family can do to have a joyful Lunar New Years?
▶ You spend your time making food together and helping each other. It’s really hard for the housewives
with all the work they have to do! If the father and children all help out, everyone will be happy.
– If you can pick the most memorable moment since your debut until now?
▶ Definitely when we received the ‘New Artist Award’. It really feels good to receive an award. It makes
you feel like all your hard work paid off.
– Any activity plans for SNSD after Lunar New Years?
▶ We will continue promoting ‘Kissing You’ and I think I’ll continue filming ‘Unstoppable Marriage’.
– Is there any Lunar New Years greeting you want say to our StarNews Readers?
▶ Because everyone loved us so much last year, we were able to word hard. Thank you so much ♡. I
