I think they changed the lyrics alot for a new feeling..

I LOVVEEE the japanese version of genie possibly cause the japanese seemed easier for me to read and sing along to ^^ despite them singing to be not as powerful (but they are singing in another language, AND THEY SING SO FAST TOO!) but it seemed to flow very well o_O i believe we should give credit I think they sound cute in Japanese ^^ especially jessica and yuri xD, possibly tiffany and sunny too? 8D oh who gives, they all sound cute in Japanese ^^

I don't think I like this Japan version lyric of genie.
it's just like another love song, and put 2 or 3 of the word genie in it.
the concept of genie is not there anymore...

I like the MV though...

The japanese version is cool, but I'll always prefer the korean one. The japanese lyrics are kinda strange, and I agree with bipeds, the feeling of "genie' is not really there... but I still like it and still gonna support the girls ^^

oh man,i really love the japanese MV of Genie,but my lyrics get tangled up every time i sing along with it..i thought it would be similar to the lyrics of the korean version,but I was surprise that almost all of the lyrics didn't match..oh well i guess i just have to learn japanese fast as possible..P.S. I really love their outfits in the MV... SNSD HWAITING

i can say is that the japanese mv is much better than korean one. but if it's korean and their music video is like the japanese one, then i would extremely ultra like it.

i can't watching this mv because i can't resist their looks and also the song, it's my fave song of snsd, only to be in japanese
