Haha yeah sorry about that, it was in the AM for me when i wrote that, i know it seems odd, but personifying gives its own unique effect that can heighten a particular emotion you might be trying to convey. Like instead of using the word clinging, if you use biting, the effect is now more dramatic and veers to a side as opposed to the general effect of cling. Idk it's just me...

something*. Anyway, I know what you mean regardless, so thanks. I guess I'm just being picky about words. These days, I've become such an etymologist. I only really delve into emotions when something pivotal happens. The bachelorette party was good fun so there really wasn't a need to explore. Still, I'll take your words into consideration by honing in on aesthetics with more...flavour lol.

Like, "sprawled distastefully", while not incorrect, sounds...odd. Sprawled already gives the image of a person lying on the floor in either an uncomfortable or lazy position. Distasteful should be used with somehow done poorly, such as work, food with a bad taste, or simply how one regards another with their eyes - with distaste.

Hmm, I get what you mean. About your example - it kinda seems, idk...awkward? When I first wrote fanfiction, I used to throw out words without knowing the proper meaning. The thing with inanimate words is that they they are just that to me - inanimate, unmoving. I don't feel the imperative to describe them so vividly. I tend to use metaphors more than similes because the image is better.

LOL TYPO (AND*). My bad, how embarrassing. And yeah, delving into emotions is an effective way of presenting the story more vividly. When you do explore their emotions, you did a fabulous job - just increase the frequency I suppose. Try using more similes or personifying inanimate objects to heighten a certain effect you want to create.

"The pizza box had been viciously mauled, scraps of its content loosely suspended from the counter an oddly, the ceiling fan as well. Vodka quietly dripped down from the kitchen island onto the pile of seemingly lifeless bodies sprawled distastefully across the kitchen floor."
That already is quite a vivid and impressionable visual, you know what I mean?

When I said a different method. I meant as opposed to just using adjectives to show how messy a room was, bring us readers deeper into it. Like, if a room was messy for example, instead of just saying catastrophically distraught and unhygienic.
You can describe how the room looked with a handful of specific things.

Well I recently saw a picture of Sooyoung touching Seohyun with a hilarious caption of Seohyun refusing the intimacy. Maybe that can be something to test her gayness, OR, bring in someone entirely unexpected (for the characters) - honestly though, I feel like she'd match Kangin, though they may bash heads a lot, in a comical way though, no?

Trololol I realise I stole your first post :D I want to ask something. Who do you see Sooyoung paired with? I really have no idea. She's so straight it's somewhat depressing. In the bachelorette party, she drank to the 'I've never been straight'. What do you think of Daesung (Big Bang) or Sungmin (SJ)? And, no - I don't see her with Sunny. Or maybe? Perhaps, to test her gayness?

I realise I am spamming your wall so sorry about that. Do you mean by switching POVs? I'm sticking to Yuri and Jessica throughout. There's no way I'm changing that. If I tell the story through Jessica's eyes, it's so cynical and makes everyone to be really, really immature lol. In Yuri's POV, it's much more fresh, more neutral - pervy, one could say. The two balance each other.

I'll take your thingy into consideration. Idk, how, though. I mean, if you've read my other works they are vastly different in terms of both plot and writing style. I feel that if I stop writing descriptively and over the top, the fanfiction will lose it's flavour and comedy and it will be just like any other fic. I'll delve into characters' thoughts more so that's something to check out.

LOL nothing is too crazy. I wanted Hyoyeon's wedding to open heaps of introductions for Jessica, as well as revealing Sunny's stalker and Heechul meeting Hangeng/Hankyung. The thing is, I'm not fond of all the Super Junior members, Shinee and f(x). As you can see, Heechul (SJ) and Hara (Kara) are my faves. Key, too. I was going to make him Hyoyeon's wedding planner but lol.
