At midnight on June 24th, S.M. Entertainment revealed the teaser for Taeyeon’s “Starlight” music video. The brief clip also plays in the background of Taeyeon’s official website, where teaser images are being uploaded until her “Why” mini-album is released.

“Starlight”, featuring South Korean R&B artist Dean, is one of seven tracks from Taeyeon’s upcoming second solo mini-album, and will be released on June 25th. The rest of the mini-album will be available starting June 28th. “Why” includes seven songs besides the title track and “Starlight”: “Fashion”; “Hands on Me”; “Up & Down”, which features Hyoyeon; “Good Thing”; and “Night”.
