MBC officials and SM Entertainment have announced that Sunny will be leaving her position as DJ on MBC FM4U’s “FM Date”, due to upcoming busy schedules in Korea and Japan. Her final radio broadcast will be November 15th.
Sunny has hosted “FM Date”, MBC FM4U’s 8 o’clock radio program, since May of 2014. Since then, she has held a radio show nearly every evening for her faithful listeners, while simultaneously promoting with Girls’ Generation and appearing on variety programs. Sunny also participated in several MBC Radio DJ events and has had Girls’ Generation members visit her several times throughout her year and a half as DJ.

Schedule in Korea and Japan?
Does that mean there is a new Japanese album coming out? and a tour to promote it?
Wahhh, that’s too bad. I really enjoy FM date with Sunny as a DJ, there’s a good reason why she got an award. But I can understand with the busy schedules of SNSD, it would be hard to go to the radio every evening.
We will miss DJ Sunny!
Good job, Sunny! Will miss you as SoonD. Hope to see you again as a DJ again in the future. :)
Will make sure to listen to the last broadcast next Sunday.
