On April 12th, MBC revealed that Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and Seohyun will be narrating for “Real Men”, a new show on MBC’s “Sunday Night” television lineup.
“Real Men” is a program that will show viewers what the army is really like. Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and Seohyun will be observing from a woman’s point of view.
Girls’ Generation said, “We were very surprised at everything that was happening in the camp. The way they fold their laundry, the way they are always in formation when walking to the cafeteria to eat, and even the way they tie their boots. All the know-hows were interesting.”
The first episode of “Real Men” will feature actor Kim Sooro and five other men entering the training camp to be trained by Wheesung, a singer currently carrying out his mandatory military service. The show will begin airing on April 14th at 6:25 PM KST.

As I initially suspected, Sunny and Seohyun only narrated the first episode. Kara members are recording the next episode. And probably others after that.
I saw parts of this new show. Seohyun’s voice was the calm and soothing one, and Sunny’s voice was cute.
But if this gets subbed, it would be probably only the occasional narration cuts, which aren’t that much.
And you probably wouldn’t want to watch most of it without subtitles.
And I think this show is a short-term program, so Sunny and Seohyun will likely narrate this for its entire run.

I would like to point out that Sunny and Seohyun will probably narrate just the first episode of this new show.
I think they will narrate the whole series because they aren’t on camera and can do it on the road when they are touring (hopefully) USA, rest of world.
That’ll be nice. I have taken an interest in a lot of South Korean culture and history, even North Korea as well, since becoming a Sone. My aunt is Korean, so that helps make it seem less odd for me to be in America loving South Korea so much. Hehe. I’m sure it’s a good opportunity for the women in SK and the girls themselves, to know about this kind of stuff. Good luck narrating girls! <3

I sometimes forget how men in South Korea have compulsory military service. I guess that puts a clock on many of the boy bands. Good thing we SNSD fans do not have to worry about that! ;)
Apparently, Super Junior’s Yesung will be going to the army in early May, according to a SJ fan.
Women can serve in the armed forces too, y’know! :P Don’t discount any female Kpop idol from wanting to be a badass.
Sunny could go if she wanted, but she’s already too awesome for that =)
