New Girls’ Generation Subunit to Debut Next Month
SM Entertainment has announced that the next Girls’ Generation subunit will debut sometime within the next month. There was speculation that a new subunit would not be revealed for some time, but after the success of Girls’ Generation – TTS, SM Entertainment officials determined that it was worthwhile to accelerate their timetable.
A high-level employee within SM Entertainment stated that the new subunit would show a familiar side of Girls’ Generation while maintaining a refreshing feeling. The employee said, “Unlike TTS, which mainly focused on vocals, this unit will have a balance of strong vocals and powerful dance choreography. Their performance style will be closer to what fans are used to from Girls’ Generation, but the songs and concepts will be new.”
While no concept photos or video teasers have been released yet, SM Entertainment did reveal what the name of the new subunit will be. The new unit will follow the same naming style of TTS and the full name will be Girls’ Generation – TaeJesSunTifHyoYulSooYoonSeo. Similarly to how TaeTiSeo was shortened to TTS, the newly announced TaeJesSunTifHyoYulSooYoonSeo will also be shortened for simplicity’s sake, and they will be referred to as SNSD.

the whole time. but as you have done so cleverly in the past, you
presented a story that seemed like it was going to be false and funny,
but ended up being true and funny. good use of word play and
deception. i believe this subunit is coming out with a japanese single
soon, from the rumors i heard. i think the song will be called paparazzi.
but again, this is purely speculation. :-)
