Sunny and Sooyoung Display Their Competitiveness
In a recent interview, Girls’ Generation members were asked about how they spend their free time. The girls answered that they often play games, and that Sunny and Sooyoung in particular enjoy playing against each other because of their strong competitive natures.
Sunny explained, “Sooyoung and I both love to compete, whether it’s a big game or just something small. We turn everything into a competition.” Sooyoung continued by saying, “Sunny is very good at Tetris, and she often beats me when we play that together.”
“We play games when we’re at home and even when we out going to and from schedules,” Sooyoung added. Sunny giggled when Sooyoung said, “Lately, we’ve been getting into staring contests with each other. We always try to make funny faces in order to force the other person to blink.”
The two girls gave a quick demonstration of their competitive staring contest which was captured on film.

see, this seems like an instance where an article
that everyone takes as fiction, here it is explicit,
with more “out there” tabloids it is implicit, there
can be some truth. i think a healthy, respectful
competition among members could motivate the
girls to be even better than they may have been
by themselves. they thrive off each other’s energy
and spirit. some may see internal competition as
bad, but i think, if done correctly, it can be very
good!
