With the debut of the 9 membered group SNSD last August, SNSD has had one hit after another starting
with ‘Into the New World’ to “Girls Generation’ to ‘Kissing You’.
With the Lunar New Years, StarNews have individually interviewed each member of SNSD, who have been
bringing joy to their younger (brothers & sisters), older (brothers & sisters), soldiers, uncles fans of all
ages.
Following Questions & Answers from Yuri:
– Where and what do you plan to do this Luna New Years? And if you had to choose the one thing you
wanted to do the most during the holiday?
▶ I’ll be returning home (In-San) and spending the time with my family and relatives ^^*. I wasn’t able
to spend much time with my family and relatives after our debut T_T.
– Any memorable moments during the Lunar New Years until now?
▶ Making Rice Cake soup with my grandmother and grandfather! And doing festival plays with them.
– After your debut last August and becoming a singer, this is the first Lunar New Years and I imagine it
feels different. How do you feel this Lunar New Years?
▶ I feel anxious and uneasy because it’s the first time I’m meeting with my relatives after my debut.
– If you can introduce one thing the whole family can do to have a joyful Lunar New Years?
▶ I usually bring the mood up since I’m the youngest by singing ‘trot’ (트로트) in front of my grandmother
and grandfather and doing cute things. If you (readers) do that to your family, they will enjoy it very much too.
– If you can pick the most memorable moment since your debut until now?
▶ Our first debut-stage! The day when we received the ‘New Artist Award’!
– Any activity plans for SNSD after Lunar New Years?
▶ We’ll continue promoting ‘Kissing You’ and I’ll keep on acting as an actress for ‘Unstoppable Marriage’ ^^*.
