I'm loving all of these revealing news about Jessica that have been surfacing lately. Well, we always knew that Jessica was one of the more mature members of SNSD, but lately we've been gaining further insight into that side of her again. I look forward to seeing her transform her style in the future.

I feel a bit guilty for having a favourite, but Jessica is really special in my eyes. Admittedly, she may not have the most powerful voice, be the most talented dancer, the wittiest speaker, or the best variety show star (although she is SO entertaining, I watch out for her all the time), but what I like about her is her genuine personality. Like during the time when she was doing Legally Blond promotions at the same time as Oh, she was probably at her wits end and yet she still pulled through diligently without complaints, even sacrificing her precious sleep, because she didn't want to do anything that would tarnish the group's reputation. She really cares about the group that much. I also really admire that even as a sunbae she still holds true to her principles, like her diligence, her modesty and sincerity, and it's kind of amazing to know that such a person exists in an industry filled with the most jaded of divas. Almost every account I've read of hers, whether they be from fans or from people working with the group, have all consistently disputed that age old "Ice Princess" claim. In a way, I kind of like that she has that image of an ice princess to start with, because that only makes the surprise all the better when they find out it's all a sham.

With members like these, I can't imagine SNSD breaking up anytime soon. Or rather, at all.
