5 years ago, the idea of a 9-member girl group seemed pretty extreme; it was something no one has tried before.

5 years later, the success of the idea can be seen- they have managed to impact the lives of thousands of people all around the world.

It's really amazing to see how SNSD has come this far. From their creation until now, they have never stopped evolving. Even though some of their concepts can be considered similar, they have never failed to present it in a new way. They have also never ceased to impress us with their performances. But as many will agree, they are still who they really are. And that, makes each of them lovable in their own special way.

Since your creation, you have always managed to rise up to the occasion. I sincerely hope that as you enter your 5th year, you'll keep pushing to new heights in all aspects, not just in the quality of performances. On top of that, I hope you guys will continue on for the next 5 years and longer.

It's really a regret not being your fan when you guys first debuted. Yet, I have never once regretted being a SONE.

I pray that as you continue venturing into new waters, you guys will always remember your experiences throughout the course of being a member in SNSD.

So, to conclude, thank you, Girls' Generation. Thank you for adding a sense of meaning and colour in my life.

Wow, why am I tearing up? Maybe because words from my mouth can't express what my heart is saying, that's why instead, my eyes bring out my deepest gratitude and love for these girls. If I like someone because of their talent or looks, I wouldn't go gaga unlike with SNSD, I like LOVE them not only because of their talent and flawless beauty but also because of their genuineness and kindness. I may not know them personally but every time I watch them on variety shows or talk shows, I feel like I know them. It's because they are not afraid to show who they really are. Despite the good/pretty image that they hold, they do or say dorky stuffs showing people that they are humans too and fans can approach them because they are SNSD who are just like every one else and not SNSD whose songs are on the top of charts. This does not only happen when the cameras are rolling. Fans and even those who are not say stuff like they met them and they are very very nice. Everyone knows how these girls became on top and it's not just because of their beautiful faces but also it's because of their hard work, passion and love for their work, love for their staff, love for their fans and most of all, love for their members. They became successful because they are not the type who would talk about how successful they are because they are really good in this good at that. No. They are successful because they thank others (staff, fans, and fellow members) because of their hard work and support for them. And specially, they never forget to praise God and acknowledge their success as blessing. These girls' humility, love, bond (I don't want to talk about their great bond because I don't want to burst into tears. It is just beyond amazing) and hard work is worth admiring. So Nyuh Shi Dae, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for giving me inspiration, for making me a better person, for making me appreciate everything that surrounds me, and thank you for making me strive harder to reach my dreams. SNSD is one that's worth giving all time and effort in supporting them. I am proud to be a sone.

Wow 5 years... It seems like a really long time. Although I was not a SONE since your debut, I've lived 3 years being one and it's not gonna stop. During these 3 years, you made me laugh so hard, cry, smile, hoping, believing... I feel it has it just been 2 months since I know you, time passes by so fast ! Every song, every music video, every TV show, I'm waiting for them with excitation (my friends say that I'm crazy haha)
Everytime I feel sad, or alone, you're always her to make me forget all this. Just a smile, a joke, and you make my day. I finally found people to admire, to support no matter what. Dear Girls' Generation,
5 years had passed. It's seems like only yesterday we were cheering you girls singing and twirling around with lollipops. You've come a long way, and it's not over yet. It's far from over! Just believe it when you hear us the fans say "once a Sone, always a Sone". Yeah, it felt like a shame to me for not being with you girls right from the beginning. But, for the past 3 years being a Sone, I believe this is one of the best thing that happened in my life. And I doubt I'll ever stop being one.

Girls, congratulations with your 5th anniversary! Keep doing what you did up till now.

I am not a fan of yours for that long, but I'm sure I'll continue to be one for many years to come!
If It wasn't for that moment that I clicked on that link on YouTube that said "Girls' Generation - The Boys", I never would have know you.
With that mouse click I opened a door to a entire new world that I didn't know of yet. That click encouraged me to listen to/look at not only So Nyuh Shi Dae but also other K-pop artists.
Your OST's made my curious about the drama's they were used for. Enjoying the actors in those drama's made me look for more drama's with those actors. Now I even have a (small) tower of Korean movies. And even variety shows aren't unknown for me anymore. WGM, Running Man, Golden Bell, Happy Together,..

Botomline.. THANK YOU SNSD for your songs, MV's and appearances on variety shows! and again CONGRATULATIONS on your 5th anniversary!

Well, it's the 5th Anniversary already. I'm a bit regretful that I didn't follow you since your debut. But, you have saved me and have given me energy and courage that I faced in my daily life. I wish to turn back the time and become a SONE since your debut but that is just asking for the impossible. I started following you during your promotions for The Boys and I have been following you ever since. I became a SONE in late December and went crazy for SNSD even in my college. Most of my friends know that I'm a SONE. In fact, SNSD is the only group I listen to besides Leessang. Thanks for giving me hope and a dream. Hope to see SNSD face-to-face soon.
