Happy 5th Anniversary to So Nyeo Shi Dae, Girls' Generation, Shou Jo Ji Dai, SNSD, GG, SJJD,
and SoShi (did I include everything? lol). You girls made me bankrupt all the time, but believe me
when I say I don't regret being one.

I'm happy whenever you girls are happy, I'm sad and heart broken whenever you girls are sad and hurt.
My biggest regret would have to be that I didn't know of SNSD's existence till 2010, but I promise that I have
never and will never love any kpop group as much as I love SNSD.

40 years from now, I will tell my grandchildren about you and if they say I'm crazy for believing in you and
admiring you for years, I will not hesitate to spank their asses

Happy 5th Anniversary to girls generation.

They are many things that we sones would like to say to you all.
For all these years, we would like to thank the 9 of us for the hard work and great show u have given to us.
And without fail to inspire us and cheer us up in a way or another.

They are many things that would change in 5 years, but yet there are some thing that would remain the same.

Thank you soooooooooo much. I have only been a SONE for a year but I feel like I have been a SONE for over than one year, actually I feel like I have been a SONE since the beginning. Thank you for bringing me joy and laughter through your voices, smiles, laughter, humor, and joy. I am so proud of all the girls. 1 year ago, I also had friends into kpop but I never thought I would be a part of them. Thank you for just existing and working so hard. SNSD ... Wow! It’s been five years! All your hard work and sacrifices have been paying off. Although it wasn’t easy when you started out, you’ve come so far. All nine of you have been such a big influence to people’s lives. Although I have not been a fan from the very beginning, I’m glad that this year will be going on my fourth year as a fan and more to come. As long as Girls’ Generation exists I will forever be a fan. If it weren’t for you nine amazing girls, I don’t think I’d be the me that I am now.
The first video I ever watched that had made me want to know more about Girls’ Generation was “Park Kyung Lim’s Wonderful Outing.” It was the episode three, “Dangerous Invitation.” I thought it was so adorable how they knew it was going to happen, but they still got frightened, but then Taeyeon smack in the middle is laughing her butt off. I couldn’t help but laugh and be interested in what other stuff you had all been a part of. I watched every music video released, which at the time the most recent video was “Tell Me Your Wish.” Despite “Gee” and “Tell Me Your Wish” being the first music videos I watched I couldn’t help but be drawn to “Into the New World.” Today, it is still my favorite song and it occasionally makes me want to tear.
It’s just that it’s been five years now since your debut and there are more years to come. Through all the videos I watch from when you’ve first started to recent videos… You’ve all grown so much. I’m happy that you’re fulfilling your dreams and doing what you love. As a fan I will always support you. Just remember that even though I was not there from the very beginning, I will be with you until the very end, so unless someone finds a way to make forever end, I’ll be with you forever.

First of all, Thank You for your existence, i was distress before you came into my life. Everything changed drastically ever since 2009 when i became a SONE, i became happy and found joy in everything related to soshi.

Because of SNSD, i learnt hangul, i was never a self-derived person, but seeing the 9 of you working so hard inspired me greatly, now, i will put in 101% effort in everything i do. You girls have became my role models in life and i am so thankful for that.

Always so humble as you are, never forgetting when you were once rookies, made you girls stronger. You girls were the first artists that i ever loved so much and that would be the last artists i ever love too. I will always be sincere and loyal to you girls no matter what people say.

You girls were the reason i cried so much, watching your videos, songs. I can't help but think of the times when SNSD just debut, the determination to show people out there that you can do it. The biggest regret that i have is not being with you girls from the start because i was never into kpop until you girls came into my life.

A few nights ago I dreamt of something, and it made me realize the importance SNSD has in my life. I dreamt that our 9 girls had had a car accident and one of them (I don’t really know who it was because the name was never mentioned in the dream) died. I remember that in the dream I cried buckets of tears and I screamed at my mom to let my go to Korea immediately, I was totally suffering , and I woke up crying so so much, the dream was too real and that dream made me write this. I’m an 18 year old Portuguese girl. A GG’s fangirl between so many. 2 years and a half ago a 16 year old me watched her mother being beaten up by her stepfather. 2 months after that the 16 year old depressed me was introduced to SNSD, and my little unhappy life gained so much light. I thank them so much. Because yes, my stepfather still does things, and yes sometimes I get so unhappy, but MY role models make my life so much happy, their existence makes me happy. When I don’t want to get up to go to school I think, ‘ no MY role models despite being tired emotionally and physically always get out of bed and do what they have to do’ and I do what my role models do. I get out of bed and smile to each one of my friends and to my family because they deserve to see me smiling. Today is GG’s fifth anniversary. Today is MY role models fifth anniversary as a perfect group. Today I feel so overwhelmed with emotions that I want to cry and laugh at the same time. Today I thank Girl’s Generation for saving me from depression, just like I do everyday . And I hope one day I will see my role models and thank them personally. Thank you Taeyeon for being so mature and yet so full of dorkiness that it just makes me want to squish your cheeks. Thank you Jessica for making me a person who follows her heart. Thank you Sunny for being so brave and for making me brave as well. Thank you Tiffany for teaching me that no matter how sad life is you have to get through it with a radiant smile. Thank you Hyoyeon for teaching me that it doens’t matter if people don’t give you the importance you deserve at the beginning, because in the end you will be recognized and born as someone much more beautiful. Thank you Yuri for making me want to exercise (ahah), and for being my source of laughter with your fails and awesome language skills. Thank you Sooyoung for teaching me to appreciate my family and for making me laugh with your wonderful impersonations. Thank you Yoona for teaching me how to be humble and for making me smile with your smile. Now, being on stage is like being on home. From doing concerts only in Korea, now there is European countries, United States, Japan, and other Asian countries.
