Happy 5th anniversary Soshi! I've only been a fan for little over a year but nonetheless, I love you girls! You have impacted my life in more ways than you can imagine! Since learning about you girls, I have taken an appreciation for Korean culture and become a happier, more cheerful person. You girls give me strength when I am up late studying and doing homework. You brighten my day when I'm feeling down. I will always do what I can to support you and I hope you can become even more successful in the coming years!

It's been five years now since nine angels joined powers and became the amazing force that is Girls' Generation.
Although I regret that I was not a fan for all five years, I'm glad to say I have been for perhaps three. And it was probably the best decision I've ever made. Heck, it wasn't even a decision. It just.. happened.
Words are barely sufficient for what I feel for the nine girls who make up Girls' Generation. Everything about you nine is just amazing. I love you all so much. I will never be able to explain just how much I do and how thankful I am to all of you. You have inspired me and brought me so much happiness by just being yourselves.
When I see you just through the computer, my heart swells and I can barely even speak. Emotions overwhelm me and I cannot even.. finish this sentence, haha. I don't know.
All the hardships you have been through will help you become a stronger person. And we, s♥nes, will always stay by your side with unwavering and infinite amounts of love.

Kim Taeyeon, keep being our dorky and adorable Kid Leader with the voice of an angel.
Jessica Jung, keep being our lazy, warm iced princess, who is a modeling pro.
Lee Soonkyu, keep doing that aegyo that calls for a punch and catching chicken.

Choi Sooyoung, keep being a shikshin and cracking your hilarious jokes.

Time really flies and i have been a fan for 3 years already. In this 3 years being withGirls' Generation (supporting you) and seeing you all grow into the person you all are now makes me very happy that I am in this fandom. On this special day, I want to thank you, for being Girls' Generation. You've worked hard for many years before finally debuting five years ago, and I think life have not been easy even after debuting. It must be hard being an idol group. But thank you so much for giving everything since all those years ago. Because of that, Girls' Generation exists and because of you, I have learnt many things.

Thank you for being my inspiration, for giving me hope and strength when i was down, for sharing the joy and tears together when times are hard, and for motivating me to work hard like you do. In a blink of an eye its 5 Years already. Many groups cannot survive the 5years curse and some barely made it through. But our girls made it through so easily. I hope 5 more years down the road there will still be Girls Generation. As a sone, i am so grateful because u affected my life so much. You will sure not know me unless you remember that one time u saw me at your concert >< which i doubt so ): but your appearance has changes my life a lot and in a positive way. You taught me a lot of values in life. Being a role model on how to live my life without regret. How to work hard to achieve something u want. Thank you so much. Wow it's the 5th year already. 5 years of Girls' Generation. 5 years of working hard together, crying together, smiling together and performing together.

From Into the New World to Girls' Generation, then Kissing You, Baby Baby. Gee happened and Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). Oh! and Run Devil Run. The surprise Hoot! to The Boys and Twinkle. Not forgetting Mr Taxi and Paparazzi. Different concepts with different members shining extra brightly in each, with different fans wooed by different happenings and moments. Every moment was and is precious.

Even with personal biases and soft spots for certain members, I would say SoShi is incomplete without even just 1 member. All of you matter. All of you are important. All of you are loved. All of you are amazing to us. I really wish I could hug each one of you and tell you how you have impacted me, how you have changed my thinking, how you have encouraged me..I would settle for just a sentence each. You guys deserve more than just that. And it's not about me, it's all about you 9.

I pretty much suck at writing things like this, but I hope that you guys will know that no matter where you go or end up doing, we will be there to support you in whichever way we can. Thank you for giving us you.

Let's take a time machine shall we? ^^
5 years ago, there were 9 young aspiring girls who debuted under one of the biggest companies in Seoul, Korea. Why? To bring happiness and world peace. lol jk. For their dreams to be acknowledged and accredited in Seoul alongside the other kpop artists who debuted or doing well at the time. Soon, they conquered the mass with overly-addicting hooks and cute outfits- They were popular. BUT, they didn't let the popularity cloud their heads with confidence and cockiness. They took it as an opportunity to get out of the comfort zone that is Korea to break into the Western music industry which they, too, conquered. Just the sheer determination of these 9 girls inspire me to work harder and to hold on even when the edge of failure draws closer. They ARE the light at the end of that dark tunnel.

We SONEs shared their pain and sorrow, happiness and glee in every win and every award but what does our relationship with them so.. unique? It's the bond! The Communication! The LOVE! SNSD shares the same compassion and yearn for us as we have for them, they take care of us as much as we take care of them. We can see the bond we share by the words we exchange. It's pure love. And a SONEs heart isn't only restricted to SNSD but to all artists. Another thing that our precious girls taught us, open-mindedness. To never judge and immediately jump to conclusions, to analyze and read through the atmosphere and we have been lectured by Seohyun lots of times. We learn as much from them as much as they do from us. Again, it's pure love.

They've been our source of inspiration and determination for 5 years now (a year for me. ^^) and did any of our hearts change? No. Instead, we grew closer with them! Got many, many chances to see them and exchange words. We'll continue to stay by there side, in darkness or light, health or sickness, happiness or sorrow 9 days a week and 24 hours a day! Happy Anniversary Girls' Generation!
Let's continue onto 50 years~! YEAAAAAA.

At first you guys started with a black ocean

but now PINK is everywhere!

When I see pink, all I think is about Girls Generation and sones! How we are one big family.

I didn't just fall in love with Girls Generation just because they were pretty, I fell in love with them because they

ARE SUPER TALENTED!

The time separating today from the day when 9 teenage girls began to make history.

Five years ago, nobody believed in them. Nobody believed they would survive. Almost everybody thought they will fade away in a few months.

Oh, how wrong they were.

Those 9 girl lasted till today.

Now, 5 years later, they're one out of few groups that lasted and are even better than before.

I feel honored I have a chance to see you grow up and get more mature. From enthusiastic teenage girls grew up mature and sophisticated ladies. Uhh, most of the time.
