UK Sone @ Paris

My first account during the SM Town Paris Concert!


Added a few youtube videos, (but they are not mine, I do not owe them)

I wasn’t going to write a fan account, as I was afraid some fans might get the wrong idea. However I thought maybe I should share my experience and let all the Sones out there know, your dedication and love for the girls will not go to waste!

Thursday 09th June 2011: Le Zenith
Would like to thank you all the Soshified members for arranging the Soshified bundles and making sure we all got it. Thanks to you all, Sones were united in pink.

Well me and my Sone friends were supposed to just go checkout Le Zenith but then heard loud music, as we rushed over there was already a lot of fans. We asked one of the F-fans and she said SNSD just arrived, so we rushed to the back of Le Zenith. Just when I got there I asked another F-fan if Soshi has arrived? She just pointed over towards the gate…..and omo I saw Sunny….there wasn’t Sones around, there wasn’t much cheers, so I thought I wasn’t allowed to scream….

But then I saw Taeyeon….....then I just froze for a few seconds….but I couldn’t help it and screamed “TAEYEON!” omo Taeyeon turned round and waved back…….^^ (this could happen to you too!) I think I went abit crazy and I totally missed the rest of Soshi. Looking back at the vid I should of yelled at all of them.....But I was too happy at that point.

After a few hours waiting we all went for higher ground for a better view. We were joined by more Sones and many foam hearts. You couldn’t miss us, we all shouted so loud! Most of the girls all waved, I could see Sooyoung smiling brightly, and Taeyeon doing a dorky wave and started to eat her baguette. (yes Taeyeon is so cute)

We all waited for Soshi to get into the vans and decided to wait by the exit for them to pass. We all stood in a line and we all screamed. The first car was tinted, but I think I saw 3-4 Iphones waving back at us, the second car Sunny had a really bright smile and gave us a big wave. Taeyeon waved and Yoona smiled so brightly. (Yoona is so pretty in real life, she had makeup on but she was so pretty, my friend almost fainted and cried…no names mentioned)


The highlight was when the car was about to turn to join the carriageway, Taeyeon turned round and looked straight at me (I’m not making this up) she pointed towards her forehead (I was wearing a 309 Taeyeon cap at this time) and she said something then smiled at me. (at this time I was completely stunned) I had no idea what was going on…..yeah I went abit crazy! after all she is my bias.

Friday 10th June 2011 – First SM Town Concert
We must have been the only Sones round the front left stage, I never screamed so much in my life. Did the famous Sooyoung scream, (but wow I didn’t realise how hard it was to scream so long) and extra cheering for Hyoyeon dancing Queen.

If you see “Yuri” foam hearts, pink bunny ears and a Taeng Board at the front left stage that’s us!
I think Taeyeon saw me, but I didn’t really get eye contact like we did with Sooyoung. Sooyoung really was the highlight, she kept looking at us throughout the whole concert and at the end she waved and smiled at us directly. She looked at everyone one of us individually (there was about 10 of us I think) with her thumbs up and gave us this most sincere thankful gaze (I was so touched, I felt really emotional) like she really was grateful for us.
I saw a lot of Sica and Tiffany coming round our area. Sicas smile during Tik Tok was so sweet^^.
I don’t know if Tiffany heard me shout “Taeny, tiffany and taeyeon forever”, but there were a few dorky Taeny moments. (TaeNy shippers! Hands in the air!)

I remember there was a moment where Tiffany smiled brightly and tried to grab Taeyeon’s arm and pointed below to us (wanted to do something) but then Taeyeon swung her arm off with disapproval (could be just me imagining all this) but TaeNy is cute!

I remember at the end of the concert. I tried to get Sooyoungs attention so I kept jumping up and down with my Taengu board like a lunatic (yes it was highly embarassing thinking back, if you can imagine a hobbit like thing waving a pink board and screaming like mad) I think SOoyoung must of saw me though, because once she looked my direction she bursted into laughter crouched down laughing and then said something to Sica.

Saturday 11th June 2011 –2nd SM Town Concert
I was supposed to go to Disneyland, but my friends got pick pocketed.
So somehow my friend (stalker) gave me a call and found Soshi’s hotel. Without a second thought we rushed over to the hotel, (I was so nervous, I couldn't think straight when I was in the taxi on our way to the hotel, I was holding the pen and was thinking all the things I wanted to say......but I never said it lol....
When we arrived there weren't much fans at all...(not enough stalkers) Not long after Taeyeon suddenly came back from grocery shopping. (People we were all very calm, we stood against the hotel and left a lot of space) I did beg the manager a few times and he took my present for Taeyeon. (perfume, cola jelly caterpillars and a postcard to be more exact. Hope she got it!) Considering all the drama of me nearly losing the present then miraculaously with alot of luck and running around I found the present lying outside a cafe. It was a sign that I would give the present to Tae and I did......(this is totally all in my head)

Then later the other girls, came back. We all stood still silently at first, but then my friend called out “Sooyoung” and our initial reaction was to shout Sooyoung too after last nights fan service. I was too nervous to shout the others names. (We should have shouted, but wanted to keep calm) Sooyoung gave us a bright smile back, but I think her manager told her to hurry, (I think they thought we would rush over……but we didn’t, we were like statues.)
Last Sica came back, I think she was scared of us so she rushed across us and into the hotel, but she was really polite she turned round and smiled back.

We stayed a while longer, but Soshi and Shinee already left through the car park at the back (my friends saw Sooyoung waved back)

2nd Concert was amazing! There was a lot more cheering, Sones and generally the atmosphere was a lot better. Loved Tiffany’s “Paris, put it back on!” I was happy to see the girls’ final bow and Tiffany thanking all the Sones support and attending the concert…bless. (A lot of SooTae moments btw)


It was just a shame I didn’t get to see Yuri or Tiffany in person.

Sunday 12th June – Roaming round Paris
I’ll cut this short. We were seriously roaming round Paris, but got a call. I saw all Soshi members apart from Sica. They were only a hands reach away. I tried to ask the manager for an autograph but he said no.

I said to Tiffany we were UK Sones, and I think Tiffany just nodded. So I just stood there and watched them walk pass. Sooyoung smiled at us again. @ this point we were kinda in a rush to go back to catch our Eurostar.

Hyoyeon, Sunny, Taeyeon and Yoona went off shopping. Seohyun was in a van by herself, Tiffany, Sooyoung and Yuri was in the other van. I went over to manager again and asked, but I think he got confused and thought I wanted his autograph…( I wanted him to give my fan for them to sign….T_T) but I just stood there again.
Just at this moment when I was about a metre away from the van, the car opened and I saw Yuri. I was so stunned, I bowed and blurted out “anneyo haeseyo,” Yuri was very polite, she bowed back, smiled, waved and said hello back. (my friend said Sooyoung waved back, but don’t remember this) Then the door closed…..

I was waving my Sooyoung fan at this point, hoping Sooyoung will see it. After more standing, the door opened again, Tiffany said “thanks for the support and sorry we couldn’t sign for you,” and waved at us. Just when I was about to say it’s ok, the door closes again………..T_T.

Then we all just bowed to the tinted van and to maknae and said goodbye and left.

Well I hope you guys don’t think I’m a creep, but after being a fan for 2-3 years and finally able to meet your idol, I would say I was rather calm.

Just wanted to say, don’t give up people! At this rate with the girls popularity you guys won’t have to wait too long to see them! Hwaiting everyone!

I rather be a polite stalker than a creepy stalker....well being stalker is just not good lol....but i rather be a stalker than regretted it later.....

I love my Taeyeon 309 Spao Cap right now. I just wish i knew what she said........T_T

Polite stalkers FTW!! It was so hard to contain yourself not to scream or rush towards them but in the end, we got better interaction from the girls compared to the other fans that were literally going crazy.
