The date August 5th could be like any other dates for other people but not for us, fans SONEs & SNSD.
This is the 3rd year we are celebrating SNSD birthday! Although the road was bumpy this year for us, it still has been amazing.

If someone were to ask me why I want to be s SONE, I honestly wouldn't know what to tell them.

It just happened when I saw these nine girls. I couldn't explain my captivation; neither could I fathom the feelings welling within the pit of my stomach, but of one thing I was certain: those feelings were there, and they were indeed very real.

I got into the fandom late (late 2009), and had to backtrack to see how these girls grew and matured from the beginning of their career, and from the very first time, I was absolutely in love. I can only hope to make up for the two years I'd lost by pouring even more of my love into living the life of a SONE, simply because it's just so awesome to be one.

These girls...they're special, each in their own way, and even more so when they're together. Power of Nine, right? I don't think they'd be where they were now if they were missing anyone. And I know they're going to continue forging forward with all their heart and soul, with a passion that has been brewing deep inside them from a time way before their debut. It was a love for music, for dance, and above all, for life, that gave them the fortitude to withstand any pain; to overcome any obstacle. With the love they're constantly receiving from hundreds of thousands of SONEs all around the world, I'm very confident that this strength will never fade.

Nevermind all the awards, all their hard-earned accolades. They're merely secondary compared to the euphoria and satisfaction they enjoy every time they step onto a stage and show what they're made of. To see their smiling fans, to hear their tireless cheers...It makes them more than willing to get right back up every time they're knocked hard into the ground.

All I can say is, being a SONE, or participating in any fandom in fact, is like going on a journey. You never know where you'll end up, but every one always begins with a single step.

And it's a step I've never, ever regretted taking.

Hi to All of SNSD.

Though i am sad to say that i have only been a sone since the Gee fever, i am and will always stand as proud as all the other sones out there. It was a breathtaking experience when i saw the 9 beautiful girls dancing to Gee on Youtube. I could barely diffrentiate any of the SNSD members. Now i feel much closer to SNSD after watching variety shows that they were on and their concerts. I feel more as one with SNSD, i am sure all fans feel this way(: I know it has not been a easy road for you girls but i would like to say that i am extremely proud of you girls and also proud to be sone(: Once a Sone, Forever a Sone.
