Producers of “Gone with the Wind” have announced that Seohyun will play the role of Scarlett O’Hara in the upcoming Korean musical adaptation of the original novel by Margaret Mitchell. This will be Seohyun’s second role in a musical, after starring as Yeonwoo in “Moon That Embraces the Sun” in January of this year. Scarlett O’Hara will also be played by S.E.S.’s Bada in this production. Other actors and actresses to star will include Joo Jinmo, Lee Michael, Kim Bokyung, and Kim Beoprae.
“Gone with the Wind” will run from January 9th to February 15th, 2015 at the Seoul Arts Center Opera House. Ticket sales will begin on November 13th. More information can be found on Interpark.

This is one of those classic movies that I’ve never finished watching…..but I am so proud of our SeoHyun for being cast in such an iconic role!

i’ve watch the movie “Gone With the Wind” and i like it. beautiful story and the picture quality isn’t that bad either for a classic. i’m glad our Seo is cast in this and as 1 of the lead. way to go Maknae! oh gawd she’s lovely in her red dress and i like the poster with her and the fella. GO SLAY THEM SEO! man i wish i could go to her musical or any of the future Soshi musical.

This will run for just a couple of days right? Please correct me if I’m wrong. I think SNSD comeback will push through on May 2015. After all their individual activities.

1. I’m really happy for Seohyun because she’s a huge musical fan and it’s a big chance and another step on her way to “world domination” ;)
2. But I was hoping for a SNSD comeback at the beginning of next year. So this probably won’t happen.

Actually most of the Soshi musicals have run alongside a Soshi comeback.
Taeyeon’s one didn’t.
Tiffany’s was alongside a Japanese repackage of the first album.
Jessica’s 2009 Legally blonde clashed with preparations for their ITNW tour and I believe the last few dates the 2nd round clashed with IGAB promotions.
Seohyun’s last one didn’t.
Sunny’s 1st musical didn’t but her Singing in the Rain ran when The Best was released.
Hyoyeon, Yoona, Yuri & Sooyoung haven’t done any musicals.

She can sing, she can sing in English, she is musically gifted. A new star is being born. A true solo artist, and the only other member to give Yoona a run for her money…imo.
