I’m named after a US Marine who was killed near Yongsan, in September of 1950, and my own father was one of the “Chosin Few.”
My father returned to the Republic of Korea as a tourist, decades later, and came back happy that the sacrifice of so many had paid off. I think that he find Seohyun’s message more proof that he had fought on the right side.
