I still remember the very first time I stumbled across an SNSD video was through a friend. Curious, I searched them up and saw their debut music video, Into The New World. At that time, I didn't really care much though. The music was good but I didn't think much of it. Then I stumble across a video where Minwoo of Shinhwa gave Taeyeon a hug (I was a huge huge Shinhwa fan and still am a fan), so I decided to watch more of their videos and saw the infamous Mnet Girls Go To School and the rest is history. I was definitely SOSHIFIED. At first, I had biases toward each girls but as I got more exposed to them through subbed videos (thank you SSF) and clips, I grew to love each and every one of them, even their flaws (of course, I still have a bias toward Jessica). They showed me a lot of things and most precious is the bond they share between the nine of them. It just can't be described with words. Every time I see them surrounding each other in a group hug, my heart would tear a little with joy. I have to say, when it comes to fanservice, Soshi, you girls are jjang ^^ I will always be grateful because I know that no matter what they do, they are not only doing it for themselves, their family and friends but also for us, SONES.
Our path as SONES with SNSD is a little bit more rough than others, but SONES, you guys are amazing! When our girls were hated by thousands and deeply hurt and we feel like failures because we couldn't help make that pain go away, it sucks...but like Soshi, we didn't give up. We out-weighed the hate with our undying love and support toward the girls. From fanchants, birthday/anniversary projects/gifts, and even charity in the name of SNSD, everything SONES did was to show that even if the world turned against SNSD...no matter what they will always always have our backs and we will never ever betray their love and trust.
To me, the girls are real; they're humble and stay true to themselves. They work hard and put in effort in every thing they do, no matter how big or small it is because they want SONES to be proud of them. Proud of this fandom, but hey Soshi, I already am. So I would have to say that it's not only SNSD's anniversary we are celebrating but also SONEs. Every thing they have today, they deserve it and I'm happy to share it with them. I know that they won't stop but keep on aiming forward and I'll always support them!
They will always be forever 9 SNSD in every SONEs' heart.
So, happy third anniversary to SNSD and SONEs. It's been a long road but it doesn't end here.
