[11.09.10] Fan Signing Event @ Landing Cinema/ Short message from Tiffany about Bangkok...

14 November 2010 - 06:40 AM

[11.09.10] Fan Signing Event @ Landing Cinema/ Short message from Tiffany about Bangkok Concert & few other events in those 3 days period.

Hi all, again with a fan account from CityRabbit. This trip was really a last minute one but I’m glad I took it. I was actually bought a plane ticket right after my last trip to Taipei when the Come back news was out determining to go see the kids Come back. However, with the flooding situation in Thailand, so charity events just kept popping out in my schedule, so I pushed it off couple times. Came Saturday, I finished an event quite early, so I decided to just catch a plane to Seoul arriving just in time to line up for Inkigayo, then off to buy 29 CDs to enter the drawing for the fansigning event.

Let’s start with the fansign. This was the 2 nd time I got a chance to participate in a fansigning event since Oh!’s. This event was quite different as the one I went was Hottrack’s and held out in the mall.
This event held in a cinema, so only the 150 that got picked got in. We were asked to sit in order of the tickets we got that day. Then the staffs came out and speak something to us. I still don’t understand Korean : p, but this time unlike last time that I seemed to be the only foreigner, I have couple Thai friends in with me. They study in Korea, so she translated some of the things the girls talked after the signing for me.
After a bit the girls walked into the theater. The fans were cheering. They greet the fans before sitting in order of their pages in the CD. Tiffany, Jessica, Yuri, then Sooyoung. The introduced themselves, thanks the fans, and talked a bit to the fan before starting to sign.
During the sign, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Tiffany talked loudly and a lot. Jessica spaced out every so often, she’s sooo cute. I saw fans gave her letter and there’re times that she spaced out and handed the letter back to the fan with the CD, or even put it inside the CD and handed back to the fan. LOL She did get the letters back tho’. A friend of mine gave Yuri a candy and she just kissed it before putting it away. She’s so cute. Sooyoung has a very special moment with her fan. I remembered this particular fan from Music shows. She always cheered Sooyoung so loudly at every event. We heard Sooyoung count hana, tul , set and every attention turn to them then the fan just screamed loudly. We’re all laughing and cheer for her. It’s entertaining.

When it’s my turn, I asked Tiffany to write something to cheer up fans who disappointed from Bangkok concert cancellation. She seemed to surprise a bit and decided to talk about it instead of writing it. She told me “We really want to go to Thailand concert” I told her the fans were sad that you guys didn’t come. She said “Sorry” and that “We’re really sad too that we cannot go.” So I told her maybe next time. She said. “Yeah. Next time for sure.” And before I moved to Jessica I gave her the letter that Wenting asked me to give it to Tiffany, telling her Wenting from SSF asked me to give it to her. Tiffany smiled so sweetly and said “Ahh.. Tell her I said Hi.” And waved a bit. You could see she remembered Wenting right away.. hahaha.. I told her and she said don’t make me die. LOL..
So moving to Jessica she thanked me for coming all the way there for them. I think that’s by far the longest sentence Jessica had ever talked to me in our encounters. LOL.. I love hearing her voice. I asked her if she got the holiday gifts I gave to Sunny the day before and she got confused, so I changed the subject. I told her that I actually went to all 7 of their solo concert (well.. actually also 6 of Legally Blonde shows including the first and the last that turned out not to be the last.). She was pretty surprised and thanked me again.
Moving on Yuri, we didn’t talk much apart from the fact that I told her that her solos in the concerts were so awesome. She shook my hand with both of hers, and thanked me.
Moving on to Sooyoung. I talked to her a bit then asked Sooyoung if there’s anything she wants from Thailand since I’ll be In Seoul for her birthday. She thought about that for awhile. When it took too long, I asked her how about food? She said yeah, food and thanks me and that concluded it.

After the girls finished, Synnara staffs gave them a bunch of CDs, about 10 for them to sign. They all signed them on the covers. Tiffany and Jessica finished first and decided to tease the staffs to kill time. Tiffany kept calling one of SM staffs unnie~ with her aegyo until she got all red and shy. Then a staff put a microphone between them (while putting another one between Yuri and Sooyoung.). Seeing the Mic they just played rock-paper-scissor, Jessica won and gave Tiffany little winner laugh while Tiffany had to take the microphone. I’m glad to see that the American girls seemed to enjoy themselves a lot. They’re sooo cute.
The girls start to talk after once Sooyoung was about to finished signing but before they said anything much Tiffany just pointed out a fan and said something (I believed it was Jessica who saw it and told Tiffany). My Thai friends who study there told me later that she saw someone trying to take a picture and called on them. She told the fan not to do it and if we want a picture then they’ll take one for us. Then everyone (except Yuri, I think) just took out their phones and took pictures of the fans in the theater. The kids were having fun, they tell us to post couple different posts and show us funny gun post asking us to imitate it. You all saw the picture. Tiffany pointed at the fan who was trying to take the picture and threat him/her with her ‘thumb slicing the throat’ gesture couple times. She’s so too cute to be scary tho’. I love to see Jessica does that. hehehe
The kids thanks the fans and staffs, Jessica didn’t really say much during the closing since she won.. hehehe Sooyong said thank you, thank you (in Thai) and arigatou gosaimasu.
In the end when they walked out of the theater, they were posting the gun post while walking weirdly out. They’re really funny, especially Yuri; such a cute dork.
After the girls left I talked (well.. through my friends who can speak Korean) to girls from woorissica giving them couple towels I picked up from Taipei concert to thanks them from helping me last times. It’s nice to get to meet sone from all over the world.
Stay tune for next week. I’ll post my last fan account of the year, summarizing all the 11 trips I took in past 12 months. Not only things I’ve learn and seen about the girls but also about the fans I’ve met in 5 countries I’ve been to.~

[11.08.10] A brief moment with Sunny in front of SM building.
I came on this trip pretty much for 2 reasons, one is to see Hoot Live and another was to bring the kids holiday gifts as well as Yuri birthday’s. I packed the gifts and it turned out to be 4 large bags, pretty heavy. Most were gifts for the kids for holiday season. A bottle of Rose Champaign for New Year, lots of snack from Thailand, herbal heated shoes and shoulders pad (They’re good you guys should try them if you have a chance), socks and glove with maps of spots you can massage to help with specific problems; picked these since they seemed to work real hard lately. Also Survival Tokyo hand book in English along with some personal gifts and Yuri’s birthday gift. I was actually been giving each of them birthday gift for nearly a year, but missed maknae’s since I haven’t been there to see them during that two months.. I shall be there next year. Since the stuffs are really heavy, I decided to just go to SM building to wait for the kids’ managers or staffs instead of giving them to the kids at the fansigning event or anywhere else. I think it’ll be the easiest way with lots of stuffs. The stuffs were so heavy that I have to ask another Thai kid; one of my best Sone pal, to come help me carry them. While we’re almost at SM building, I saw a group of high school girls around talking and pointing behind us. It turned out that Sunny was just walking a bit right behind us. I’m surprise since I didn’t know where she came from. And while I stopped in front of SM building thinking about what should I do, Sunny just walked past us from the right and turn left into the building. Since she’s walking so close, I called her name and she did turn to us. However, I just realized after she turned that in her right hand, she’s talking on a phone. I was kinda regret interrupting her but things happened quite fast, I already handed her the 2 bags in my hands and she’s already grabbed it. Trying not to interrupt her too much, I just quickly told her they’re holiday gifts for the girls from Thailand. She thanked me. Then I talked to my friends who still carrying two more bags that we should just waited for managers for those bags since they’re Yuri’s birthday’s and few personal gifts and since Sunny was on the phone she wouldn’t be able to carry all 4 bags with one hands; however, Sunny was really an angel. While I was talking to my friend, she turned to face us and looked at the two bags that now in my hands. She hanged up her phone (or may just told the other end to hold, I don’t know.) and held out her hand for the remanding bags. She was really nice. She didn’t get annoyed that we interrupted her phone conversation (I’m so sorry, I really didn’t mean to). She smiled, looking at all the back. Probably seeing lots of gifts, she asked me who was all those gifts for? Were they for all the members or was there a specific member I wanna give them to? I told her the two bags were for all of them while the others two were Yuri’s birthday’s and few personal gifts and I labeled each gift already. She said that’s good and thanks us before biting good bye and going into SM.
I was pretty surprise by Sunny English. I talked to Sunny before in Oh! Fansigning event and already thought she’s probably a member with best English if not counting Tiffany and Jessica. However, this time she seemed even better than I expected. The way she talked without having to think about what she wanna say, or the words and sentence she used. She sounded like someone who live and learned English aboard instead of in classes. It’s strange she wouldn’t really show off her English in variety shows.
I felt bad that we interrupted her but also really glad that I accident met her. She’s really an angel.

Seeing this reminded me of some fan account I’ve read or some thing I’d seen. I noticed that us as fans got really excited when we got a chance to see them, and sometime we did things we didn’t intended to do. I saw people fought with security guards, ran pass security into forbidden area, or shoving things into the girls’ faces. That made me a bit sad. I understand sometime it’s just the excitement that made people do things like that. But I think it’s not necessary. In my personal experience, the kids are always nice to fans as much as time and situation allowed. So if you have a chance to encounter them, just try to stay focus and be polite. Don’t let the excitement take over and do something you could possibly regret.

[11.07.10] Inkigayo pre recording.
I was arrived Seoul at 6 in the morning on Sunday and went straight to SBS for Inkigayo recording. Here is some short fan account of the event.
It start as usual with a pre-recording for the cameras. The kids play with fans talking to each other and having fun on the pre-recording, but Sooyoung and Jessica seemed a bit tired, probably since they have to be in SBS since early morning. I saw Jessica coughing during the pre-recording but she seemed fine later on. Then they recorded full song twice then before doing few more partial songs. Tiffany seemed to be full of energy. She played with fans quite a lot. Once she walked into the stage only to realize that nobody followed her, so she walked back in looking a very shy and turned to play with fans shooting arrows to us.
When it’s time they did partial songs, it’s quite funny as the song played and all of them seem to be lost, not knowing where to start. It took them couple times to time the start perfectly. Also the partial stopped right in the middle of Hyoyeon’s part and she’s kinda surprise and laugh. Then the 2 nd time she froze then turning around posting and playing with fans. She’s full having lots of fun today too. All of them look beautiful that day. I’m glad I was there to see Hoot live. The song was catchy and the dance was totally awesome. It’s totally worth the trip from Bangkok.

Thanks for reading~

[10.16/17.10] The 1st Asia Tour ITNW Concert @ Taipei

22 October 2010 - 10:17 AM

Warning.. long ranting and probably boring..

This 2 concerts were actually my 6th and 7th of 1st Tour concerts I've seen. After seeing it for the 7th time, it was still as awesome as the 1st. Sones were very kind, I was always feel welcomed and enjoyed experience going to concerts and performances oversea.
I'd made friends with several Taiwanese sones; some during the concerts and other performances in Seoul, one in Shanghai concert and many more during Japanese showcases, so when the news about Taiwanese concert were out, I know I'll have a great time there.

Before the concert my best sone pals in Seoul invited me to go see the kids perform at Yoido event before heading off to Taipei together on Friday, so I took a detour to Korea. Tiffany's cute mistake and the girls' performance were worth it. It's a nice warn up since it's been a long time since I was last seen the girls in Japan.

The Taipei concert wan't happened without problem; but in the end, everything work out just fine. From the start, before the 1st show tickets went on sell the venue tested run the system twice, both had failed. However, they decided to put the show on sell without another test run and their servers were crashed in matter of minutes. In the end, they have to open the sell at counter services. It's quite a chaos. A lot of fans complained and it created quite an issue. I must say Superdome dealed with it quite well. Few days later, it announced that it has successfully added another show on Sunday. Superdome also let the people who couldn't get tickets on the first show and complained to the website, get priority on the 2nd show selling.

The 2nd show selling happened few days later, this time they prepared a bit more. The selling divided into 3 rounds, first was for only for those who couldn't get tickets to the first show. The 2nd was internet selling and what were left went to the 3 rd round selling at Superdome head office.

With all the news and complication, I was worried about the tickets. It's quite frustrated that I couldn't do anything to help. But my friends in PTT were able to get tickets for me and my friends, good ones also. Taiwanese sones were so generous. I'm glad I am a Sone and friends with them. It's such a great communities filled with great people.

On Friday, me and two other Thai friends flew off to Taipei arrived Taipei around the same time as the girls. The arrival at Taipei airport was pretty interesting. There're a lot of fans waiting to welcome the girls, pretty much like in Shanghai. However, the interesting things were that some fans actually waited at the airport a night before the girls arrived; eventhough the organizer released the exact flight and time of the girls arrival few days ahead. It show how excited Taiwanese fans were since it was the 1st time the girls went to Taiwan. Couple of my friends slept at the airport just so they can get a good spot when the girls arrive. I learned later that it's quite usual in Taiwan for people to camped in the airport waiting for their idol. I've never seen it happened anywhere else. There're a lot of reporter covered the girls stories. It's one of the top news in Taiwan during our stay.

On the first days the girls went to practice at superdome at night while my Taiwanese friends took me out and about Taipei. Food was great and night market was very interesting.
Superdome has announced the detail of official goods will be selling at the concert, some goods were really limited. Once again some of my friends lined up overnight outside superdome to get the goods. Taiwanese fans seem to have incredible patience. I visited them at night bringing food and drink for people on the line; there seem to be over 100 people before midnight. My friends offered to buy me the good so that I wouldn't have to line up as I was not feeling well from all the traveling and the change of weather in the past week. The 1st queuing number was given at 7 a.m. and the limited goods were sold out very fast.

On the concert day, it's quite an experience. Unlike in Seoul where you line up in range of number, 1-200, 201-400 and so on for the standing section, each standing tickets in Taipei were numbered. People queued up by their tickets' numbers and enter in that order. Everything was organized, so we don't have to go queue up before the concert for too long. The atmosphere outside the concert were somewhere between Seoul and Shanghai. While it's a bit more lively than Seoul with sellers and fanclubs were out to sell fans goods and meet and also having some cover dances It wasn't as lively as Shanghai where so many websites and fanclubs were out selling goods, putting out banners and gather before concert.

With courteously of my lovely friends at PTT who gave me one of the best tickets of their group, I was able to get good spots in both shows. I was actually the first one in the section during the the2 nd show as my friends gave me the ticket number '009'. I was surrounded with friends from PTT. There wasn't much pushing around me on both days. I think it's the most comfortable standing concerts I've ever been to.

There're only few different between Taipei concerts and others. Also there're few interesting moments in the concerts. I'll try to talk about all that I remembered together without bored you guys too much with the detail of the whole concerts. At first I was worried a bit when I heard that both Jessica and Taeyeon were not well before the concert and also a rumor that Hyoyeon didn't seem to be in her normal cheerful self the day before; however, once the concert start; bit by bit, the worry disappeared. The girls were in their lively self. The concert started out strong and continued that way. We're first worried that Taeyeon maynot be able to sing as great but it turned out just fine though she seemed to struggle a bit in some part of the songs that required a lot of vocal strength, during few high note but overall her performance has still good and the concert was just excellent. There're few mistakes in the concert. Of course there will be some dance or singing mistakes when you perform a concert this long, but I think fans found it's cute. I heard Taiwanese media made an issue out of it. But I've been in several concerts when I was back in the US and even an artist with years of experince like Cheer still made mistake. Everyone did, so I'm not sure why they made an issue out of it. There's also a technical mistake. During Tiffany's solo on the 1st show, the music just stopped for a bit, but she handled it well continuing with performance so it flew nicely. Maknae almost dropped her umbrella during the umbrella trick in 'Singing in the rain', but she caught it just in time. On the same song next day, Jessica's umbrella didn't open once she pulled it off. However, Jessica dealed with it well by looking at her umbrella confusingly with her cute expression until it open. I think little mistakes like these just make each concert unique and interesting.
Here are some difference;
For both days, One year later was replaced by Coffee caramel like one of the encore concert since Onew wasn’t there. I love the song. I think their voice really compliment each other. Still I think Tiffany should sing this song a bit more often. : p
Tiffany changed her outfit in her solo. Also she the umbrella was handed to her instead of thrown to her like previous concerts, probably because she dropped on the last show. Other than that and music problem I mentioned before it’s pretty much the same.
Taeyeon was still as sexy in Hush Hush. Despite the rumor that wasn’t well, I believe she sing it live in the concert and it was good performance.
Yoona did her song with Donhae and Leetuk this time. She’s still cute as ever. Every fan was envy of the boy she took the picture with at the end of the song.
Jessica performed Barbie Girl with Donghae. I loved the performance. Althought Donghae was not as entertaining as Heechul in the encore concert (I think it’s kinda hard to be more entertaining than him. Hehehe), they both were really cute in this performance.
Maknae still performed Sixteen going on Seventeen. Everything was the same but somehow it seemed to me like Seohyun got more and more beautiful everytime I saw her.
Sunny still did Boney M’s (Original Bobby Hebb’s) Sunny but in both shows she did not do the flip, instead she was twirled around by one of the dancer. It’s probably for her safety since she lost her balance last time. I was glad she wasn’t hurt then. It’s amazed me that a 21 year-old Asian girl can performed an 80’s disco song so great. I think the song suit her. When she threw the towel on the 2nd day, it was actually landed in my hands but since there’re so many tall guys behind me pulling on it, I wasn’t able to hold it. It’s still great.
Sooyoung did “If you seek Amy.” like in Shanghai concert. I was glad as I like it a bit more than Santa baby. She was so amazing. She got to show off her gorgeous body, great balance and beautiful dance line.
Yuri still did 1-2 step but with Tiffany rapping with her in stead of Amber. They both were great. Yuri show us her flexibility and dance skill again while Tiffany was on fired with her English rap. It’s awesome to see Tiffany in it with Yuri and her outfit was really cool.
Hyoyeon solo thought disappointingly cut. All the fans especially Hyoyeon fans were really disappointed with the change and more than that we’re all worried that Hyoyeon maynot feel well or injured. However, she seemed to be full of energy during both concerts and seem really happy at the airport. I hope it won’t happen again.
Couple members was in tears during Dear Mom. If I remembered correctly it was Seohyun and Jessica, while Tiffany seemed to be on verse of crying also.

The girls seemed to have some funs at the concert, a lot of teasing; especially during encore. Here are some cute moments I remembered;
When Tiffany got a Tororo from a fan and some members were chasing her around trying to steal it.
A fan throw a towel and it landed right in Jessica's hand and she just throw it right back to fans.
When Jessica received a artificial flower from a fans, she kissed it then threw it back to the fans. Whoever got it must went crazy~
Another cute moment was when Taeyeon stand in the middle of the stage and Yoona and maknae put their arms out and running toward her from each side like they're going to her, but then they both raised their arms over Taeyeon's head and hugged each other instead before walked away together. Taeyeon was cutely pout to the maknaes. Poor Taeyeon, maybe if she's a little talker the maknaes won't be able to tease her this way. Hehehe..
Sunny played with fans a lot and when she did that she stood so close to the edge that I was afraid she’s gonna fall off the stage.
The cutest moment in the first day; in my opinion, happened after 'Complete'. Yuri picked up lots of little pieces of papers that was let down during complete and dropped them over Jessica's head while Jessica twirled herself round 'n' round. It's sooo cute.
Hyoyeon was really nice, she picked up about 3 towels from fans even before NaengMyung ended. And by the time the concert finished, she has 3 different towels, a hat on her belt, a hair band and also a little pink thing that curl around you waist once you hit it. (I really don't know what it's called.)
Jessica also picked up 3 towels but only choose one to wear around her neck. Yuri was running around towels hanging off her jeans.
During encore Jessica made a heart shape sign with her hand while mounting 'Woah Ai nii', then asked fans if she did ok?
Sooyoung also did the same thing saying 'Woah-ai-nii' while the fans around cheered like crazy.

On the 2nd days, a friend of mind made a sign in Korean that said ‘Please give me a Wink’. Yuri and Sunny saw it, pointed at the sign then her eye and winked for her. Taeyeon also winked for her and startled a bit with the fans' response.
Hyoyeon also play a lot with fans from the start of the concert. Her green towels were really stood out in the cons and it seemed like she tried to stop and acknowledge all of them.

As you guys may already seen, Taiwanese sones came up with couple projects. One was a message for the girls created from white penlights saying 소시 (heart) 대박 on the first day and 대만 (heart)소시 on the second. The first day project was a bit off, instead of starting from Girl’s Diary VTR like planned fans got confused and started it from the 1st VTR (I think it called ‘Success of Efforts’). So instead of holding it up for 10+ songs, I think they ended up holding it for like 20 songs. It went as planned on the next day.

On the 2nd day another project was added. Pink ribbons were left at the seats and also some in standing section. It was thrown up after the last ‘Oh!’ at the end of the Oh!’s code. It was really beautiful; however, not all unrole neatly and one hit me right on my head. LOL.. some of my friends got hit too, but it's totally worth it. The girls seemed to be surprised by it, especially Sunny who just stood there in awe covered her mount crying with joy. Most of the girls were in tears after that. It was really beautiful. Many Taiwanese fanclubs had worked together to achieve this and it turned out to be one of many memorable moments of the 1st tour.

In my personal experience, I enjoyed Taipei concert the most. It wasn't that Taipei's were the best concerts, each concert was different and they're all great. But this was actually the 1st time I was in the concert surrounded with friends, many Taiwanese and few Thai. At the 1st concerts there weren't many Thai sones participated, so I was pretty much alone on those 2 concerts. By the time encore concerts was held, I already know many more international sones, but since we bought our tickets separately, I only together with few of them. The Shanghai concert didn't have many foreigners coming, especially non-Chinese speakers (I actually met none non-Chinese speaking fan like me, but everyone was so nice to me there.), so even I met many fans, I was only able talked to few of them. And most of all, it's the 1st time I was in the concert with my 2 best pals as these were the 1st time they've been in the 1st tour concert. Having your pals around made the concert much more enjoyable. We'll sure be in the next ones together.

In the end, I owed my friends so much for the great trip. I was lucky to meet so many kind sones all over the world. Taiwanese fans helped us a lot. They took care of the hotel and transportation. When they went following the girls out to practice or celebrate, me and my friends decided not to follow. My Taiwanese friends sent her non-sone friend to show us around and took us to great restaurants. I was sad that the Bangkok concert doesn't seem to work out, so I won't have opportunity to return their favor soon. The only thing I could do was to help spread the words about the project and asked Thai and other international fans I'd known to participate before the concert. I hope the girls will stop at Bangkok for the second tour, so I can be as great host as my Taiwanese friends. To sones all over the world, thanks for creating such a great community~

This trip actually concluded the 10 trips in 10 months I flew to see the kids. At first I thought this would be the last fan account for this year, but the girls surprised us with their comeback. So I guess there will be the 11th and maybe even 12th later, so until then... Thanks for reading and please take care.

Another non-related story; I was back in Seoul for a night before flying back to Bangkok. That night I went out with some friends having BBQ in.. Chongdam??. An old lazy at the restaurant asked me whether I was Beast or 4 Minute fans (as I hanged with Beast fans at their usual restaurant.). I told her no, I was SNSD fans. She was really interested and asked me who do I like. When I told her I love them all but Jessica and Hyoyeon were my favorite. She told me she like Jessica and Hyoyeon too, then she went in the back. The old lady came back with a set of Goobne posters and she show me Hyoyeon poster telling how pretty she was then she gave me the whole set of posters. It's nice to meet another female older than me once in awhile.. LOL.. I guess you can really find an SNSD fans everywhere you go.

Taiwanese fans seemed to be good at designing. I got several fan towels from my friends. I’ll show them off sometime as I was busy with work and haven’t had time to take the pictures yet.
Also, my Taiwanese friends made a set of towels one for each girl. Only one of each was made for the girl, and they're so cute. Jessica’s towel has a cucumber on it saying ‘You don’t like me.’. Tiffany’s has a fish saying ‘Why are you afraid of me?’, Seohyun’s has sweet potato on while Yoona's has alligator. I'm sorry I didn't remember what all of them say, but each member has cute towel. I’ll post its pic sometime. Two of these two were given to its owner at the concert, while I delivered the rest later at the airport. I hope the girls like them.

Tang – a Thai Sone

P.S. There seemed to be some argument regarding Hyoyeon solo. I had a chance to speak few words with her at the airport. When I told Hyoyeon the concerts were really awesome, but we're all waiting to her solo. Hyoyeon told me to see it 'next time'. And when I told her how much I love her solo in Shanghai concert, she again told me to wait for next time. Therefore, I stopped being disappointed and just wait to cheer her when 'Next time' come as promised. I hope it'll be soon.

[Fan Account][08.27.10] Megzamashi Live - Fantastic Stage Odaiba

30 August 2010 - 08:41 PM

Sorry for yet again late fan account. I was in a shopping spear after the event and don't have time to write. Hahaha It still a lot earlier than I expected since I thought my next fan account would be Taiwan concert, or maybe Shanghai SMT of schedule allowed.
The event was announce out of the blue on Thursday morning. I was watching the news and the girls was on it then they announce a performance on Friday. However, I wasn't get much information about it as I was out shopping all days and my netbook cannot display any Japanese or Korean character at all. The only information I know was it'll be in Odaiba on a live show that will air on Fuji TV and the stage is called fantastic. Therefore I did not go line up too early as I don't know that we can get numbers tickets at 10 am.

On Friday I went to Odaiba to get tickets for me and my friends. The stage was rather hard to find with little information I had and I ended up there around 10:30 and got tickets number 8xx. It turned out that the line up start from about 22:00 pm last night and the ticket counter opened at 10 am this morning. Japanese fans have lots of patience indeed.

The place the stage located was a small temporary theme park holding part of Odaiba Summer fair (Sorry I forgot the exact name). I think it somehow reminded me of their ealry performance I've seen in Girls Go to School. I got the tickets and was told be be back to line up at 3:45 pm. The show was schedule at 5 pm, only the girls will perform and it last about 15 mins yet fans were eager to see them live. The weather was hot that I feel my face burned so went back to the city to meet with friends shop and eat before going back
I was about around 3 pm, few people was sitting around and at 3:45 sharp the line up start. It wrapped around the whole park. Most of them are fans while only few seemed to be theme park guess (The Live ticket was free after you bought theme park entrance ticket) but they seemed to know the girls. Around 4:15 the line start to move the people in the beginning of the queue got to sit inside while I and people behind get to stand in the back probably about 15 meter away, still I got while a good spot. There're around 2,000 tickets for the show; however, the stage was outdoor and only block with waist height fence, so there're people stand and watch in the back.

The atmosphere before the show was very lively. Since they line up the stage put the girls MV on LCD and fans who got in start to practice encore cheering code. Japanese fans are surprisingly good at this. So we yelling the code and sing along the MV. Although it was hot we were enjoying ourselves.

Around 5 pm we got a peek of the girls on the side of the stage. Fans were cheering and they started MezamashiLive VTR. After the countdown the girls introduction VTR was shown and the kids coming out with awesome Japanese Marine look performing Tell me you wish. The girls look absolutely stunning in this look. Although it was hot outdoor stage. Their made up were fresh and beautiful. They seem to be very lively and energetic. That was great. I was worried a bit seeing them little tired during showcases. The fans was cheering but we all seemed to be in awe by their beauty and charisma and forgot all the encore cheering code we just yelling earlier. Hehehe Still, it was very fun performance. I remembered Tiffany pointed out a Fan with a sign said America which belong to a Taiwanese sone who grew up in California, another nice sone I've met. There was a talk section after the song. I don't remember much. The girl each introducing herself one by one. I remembered Sunny introduced herself as “Hontou Ureshii Sunny des.”, very cute. Then few of them talked a bit before Sooyoung apologize that they need to say goodbye. As expected, the girls leaving with GEE. Fans still cheering and having a blast. Sooyoung seemed to received a lot of cheering today as well as the rest of the girls. The kids left after GEE walking off the stage doing various hand gestures while fans all cheering for encore.

All in all it was a great performance, totally worth the heat and the wait. I love the Japanese Marine hair. It compliment the girls. All of them look stunning especially maknae and Hyoyeon.

Note of things from both showcases and Mezamashi Live:
On the 1st showcase maknae used very polited form to introduced herself but switch to regular form on later show. I think she as more nervous on the first one and got to relax a bit in later shows.

Japanese fans are very patient, even the showcase has assigned seat people start lining up for 20:00 show at about 9:00. O think it's because the official showcase good was selling inside the showcase and it's very limited, still it was very hot and people had line up everywhere for everything. The girls have very patient fans.

Even without previous promotion in Japan, each of the girl has her own fans already. We was a lot of number color T-shirt and it seem like I saw all 9 pretty equally. Each of the girl also receive pretty much the same cheering during the showcase.

Most of the fans seen in the events were female, like 4 out of 5. Mostly teenager but also girls and older woman. I actually met a Jessica fan that over 3 times younger than me and some fans that was older. I have read an article on Japanese Times about Otaku fans on Japanese girls groups. The article mentions SNSD and Kara and Kpop group saying that Korean Kpop group seemed to be more 'sexually assertive' and that 'intimidated' Japanese otaku fans. That's both Kara and SNSD and other Kpop girls group seem to have more female fanbase in Japan. I hoped it will continue this way for them as in the article, there it also said that one of AKB48 Otaku fan was arrested in the concert for molesting a female fan. That is absurd.

[08.28.10] Haneda Airport.
A little account at the airport on Saturday morning. There're only few fans there because of the lack of flight information, fan just guessing when the girls will leave. Some of the fans already came to waited on Friday night but the girls didn't show so we're back again on Saturday morning. It was about 20 fans waited around quietly. Seeing them off. There wasn't really yelling or anything. Fans in Japan are very well-behaved. About an hour period to the girls BigBang Taeyang and Daesung also leaving Japan. There're probably the same amount of fans or maybe a bit more. Some of the BB fans were walking and running around and be a little loud so the airport staffs actually have to rope up the area for them to wait. They took the rope off before the girls came as sone seemed to be quite and not much in the way of traveller. We left after sending the girls off. I got to talked with another group of Japanese fans both the girls and Big Bang's who seemed to really surprised that me and my friend came from Thailand for the showcase and again a bit surprise by my age.. (Why I always got the reaction!! I was not the oldest sone around!!)

Anyway, that's the end of my Japan. Thank you all for reading my long and ranting fan account. See you guys again soon~

[08.25.10] 2010.08.25 - SNSD Showcase in Japan @ Ariake Colosseum

25 August 2010 - 07:09 PM

Hi all, back again with another fan account of once again lovely performances.

On the 23 rd. Since I flew to japan on 22 rd, I didn't do the phone register earlier and got there Ariake around 8 am to line up for the ticket exchange. The ticket time, section and seats were all in random, so it's hard to manage to get into more than one performance even when you have extra access key, but we managed with help of nice Japanese and European fans (guess where she came from.. I'll tell you later but I bet wouldn't get it right.) exchanging and let us tacking along with them.

After 6 hrs flight and 6+ hours waiting outside in pretty hot and sunny park, we got to see the 1 st showcase. The Ariake Colosseum can hold about 10,000 people but the back of the stage was block of and all some block at the front mostly for filming purpose. Therefore, I think it's roughly about 7,000+ people a show. All three shows were full. Most of the people attended seem to be teenage girls, probably about 60-70% and the rest were men and women in wide variety of age. Their were many girls coming to the concert dressing up like the girls. An influence from Cosplay culture, perhaps. I haven't seen this in any 4 countries I have seen the girls at. It was very fun to watch. I was lined up behind a 10 years old girl who came with her mother and sister, a Jessica fan. She asked me how old was I and I told her and she and her mom went like. 'wow.. wakai!!' (wow.. so old.).. hahaha

Before the show I saw one of the girls manager walking around outside, maybe taking in the atmosphere. So I came to say some words to him and ask him to give Tiffany's birthday gift I carried around just because without thinking I'll have a chance to give it on this trip. He was very kind. I hope all the staffs also enjoyed their experience here.

The showcase opened with the same intro footage using in ITNW concert followed by Tell me your wish; but in usual Hyoyeon awesome solo not the concert mixed, with Tiffany saying Tokyo out it back on.. so cute. This time instead of coming out from the back they coming up from under the stage. The outfit the kids were wearing are also quite similar to the concert outfit with a bit of tweak on the sleeves and inner layer along with red carpet style necklaces. I think you all would saw pictures or even some footage by now. One thing that quite weird was that the girls' make-up doesn't look very fresh making them pretty tired even it's just a first song in the first show. I guess the dressing room was rather hot or maybe it's a new Japanese look. The performance was great but somehow it seem like the girls were a bit tired or a little too excited or nervous so the dances weren't look as tight as their usual performances especially for Jessica who seem to be sweating and tired already after the first couple songs. Still she and the rest of them were slowly picking up their pace and up to their normal energetic selves on the next performance and seem very lively on the last one and they seemed to be doing their best at all three doing their best. For those who has been worried about Tiffany's condition, she seems to be on her normal self running and dancing all over the stage. After Genie; which was a full dance song, we get to see Oh! next. This time they danced part of the songs then start walking/running around and stop at different spots in the walked way. Since the walkway is rather narrow they can't really do the full choreography, they danced a bit and sang ands played with the fans before going back to the main stage for the 1 st talk. (Note that I haven't use Japanese for the last 4 years and I have rather bad memory, so sorry the talked part is incompleted or incorrected. I think you can find the sound clips online somewhere. Also it's combination of different performance, so it may not be the exact same to the one you listened.) Sooyoung did most of the Japanese talking asking others how do they feel in be in the first Japan showcase. Tiffany and Sunny said dokidoki while they and the rest of the girls do a cute gesture of heart beating heavy (That's from the 2 nd show). It was lovely. They continue a bit with other Taeyeon and Sunny spoke in Korean and had it translated into Japanese. On the last 2 show this followed by members' self-introduction and on the 2 nd one Jessica seemed to startle a bit on her turn and ended up saying “ (It's) nice to see you all. SNSD Jessica 'des'.” in English. I don't know if it's intentional but it's lovely. All the Japanese I can catch were things like 'Are you all fine?' 'let's have fun together.' things like that.
Then we back to the performance with Run Devil Run full dance on main stage followed by ITNW, only part dancing as they're again spread around in the walkway to meet the fans. Some dance a bit more than others especially Yuri in the 1 st show who trying to complete the choreography in such a limited space, so cute.
After that they're back to the main stage again for the 2 nd and last talk. If I remembered correctly the girls introduced themselves here on the 1 st show while doing it on the 1 st talk in later shows. There're all in Japanese without translator so it's mostly Sooyoung and Seohyun talking. Maknae's Japanese was actually surprisingly good. Sooyoung talked about how fun they have together with fans and such. Maknae said they will try hard in Japan, so please support them. On the 2 nd show again, she seemed to not be able to think of what to say and pause mid-sentence and use hand gesture instead. She looking so cute being shy, so all the girls were laughing along and help doing the gesture. It's a cute moment. I believe if I got it correctly (I'm appologized if I was wrong) she said that they only have a short time together (making gesture 'small' with her thumb and index), so she feel lonely but.. then she kinda pause trying to say something and making the 'big' gesture with the arms toward fans and everyone else did that.
Then Sooyoung saying goodbye to the fans with the last song GEE. They start at the main stage then walking around playing with fans. It seemed like all of us having a good time. After the song ended, they did couple longer-than-usual 90 degree bows before going in the back.
After the girls went back we to see the full Genie MV for the first time. The girls look fabulous in it. They consisted of 3 main looks army, marine and the last look that somehow reminded me of Bree in the show desperate housewives. Personally, I love Army look the most.

After the showcase we went to the back to wait to send of the girls. It's about 100 meters from the exit and the light isn't so good, plus the girls came out later than expected (I think they did a post performance interview or something along that line.) but fans wait patiently and quietly. Japanese fans are really polite. In the end since it's so far away I can only spot Jessica by her usual hair do combine with her unique way of walking (The person next to me with telescope confirmed it's her but since it's so far away and very dark she can't figure anybody else also.). Some of the girls waved to the waiting fans before going in the car, bu8t noone can see who did that. From the very far look perhaps Yuri. Then the car left.

That's for the Japanese showcase. Was any of you guess the country where the European fan I talked about came from?? She came from Malta.. Yes, that's a country. One that I've never heard of until today. It's a small island in a Mediterranean sea south of Sicily under Italy. It's Europe's smallest country about a bit over 400,000 people. And I actually met one of them at the girls showcase. How cool is that. SNSD has fans in Malta. Althought she didn't come here especially for the showcase. She's in a med-school and on an exchange program in Japan. She was already a fan before she came to Asia and very glad for the opportunity to see the girls live. SNSD really have all over the world!!
During encore concert I've met with PSSD a Japanese cover group and have a chat with them. Today I have met with many more cover groups and have some chat with few of them. They're very nice. A lot of Japanese fans dress up in SNSD outfit. Some of them even showed cover dance. It's very hot but it's fun. Later in the day, while I was in the 2nd showcase, the weather got a bit better and things start to get more lively. There're few Japanese celebrities at the showcase and several reporters, interviewers, out doing their things. Couple of my Thai friends were actually interviewed when I was watching the 2nd show as they're the only Thai fans they met at the showcase. The interviewer told them they had already interviewed Korean, Taiwan and some other fans already. I have met a Taiwan fans I met back at Shanghai concert and we're still keep in touch. It was really interesting to meet fans from all around the world in the events like this. Making me proud for the girls to have such a variety of fan base.
All in all it's a very entertaining and interesting day. I hope the girls were having as much fun as us fans do.

That's all I can remember for now.
Thanks for reading.. Please take care,

[04.17.10 +/-1] ITNW Concert in Shanghai

19 April 2010 - 11:23 PM

Note: This account was originally written at woorissica, so it's really Jessica's bias.

Warning: long and ranting. : p

From the start, I thought I wouldn?t attend the Shanghai concert since there was no mean for foreigner to buy tickets in advance. But during my Seoul trips to see Legally Blonde, I had met and become friends with a Chinese sone, an SNSDChina staff, who offered to help me get the ticket. I gladly took it. I really want to attend Shanghai concert as the date was next to Jessica Birthday and I want to be there to sing her a happy birthday song and also to see if there will be a surprise in the concert. I?m glad I did. It?s such a great experience. I?ve been in all four of the Seoul concert, but the all around experience concert in Shanghai was rather different, not better or worst, just different.

I was quite busy before Shanghai trip, too busy to search up the city and make plan, so when my Chinese sone friend suggested checking into Gran Melia, the hotel the girls stayed, I did. It?s quite an impressive hotel. I also called up Toy Watch store and ordered a pink Fluo Toy Watch to pick up at the duty free shop and brought it along to give to Jessica as a Birthday gift. The first time I saw the watch, it?s reminded me of her, so I chose it. Enough with the rant, here goes the account.

I arrived Shanghai about an hour after the girl, so I didn?t get to welcome the kids to Shanghai, but my Chinese friend said lots of sone were there, around 400-500 of them. The girls received a warm welcome. She said Taeyeon was tearing up, so touched with amount of support they received. Chinese sone are seriously Jjang.

After I checked in the hotel a group of Chinese sone took me to the concert hall. Like the girls, I received very warm welcome also. We?re waiting by the gate to send the girls into practice. It?s rather cool, but about 100 or 200 sone and Shinee World were there to support. The girls arrived around 8 p.m.. The girl got out of their mini bus and walked around the bus into the hall while sone cheering SoNyuhShiDae! SoNyuhShiDae! SoNyuhShiDae! in unison. Tiffany looked great. The girls seem to be hurry to practice but still nice to the fan. It?s cool. After the girls got in my Chinese friends took me to the VIP gate, we look through the glass panel doors and got a glimpse of part of the stage about 150 meters away. We saw the girls practicing on the stage, which was awesome. However, about the 4 th songs, the staffs noticed people outside and close the curtain. After that my friends went to prepare some fruit and drink for the food support project from SNSDChina. I went back to the hotel after awhile.

The next morning, I went to the concert hall pretty early to take in the atmosphere. The atmosphere before the concert in Shanghai was totally different from ones in Seoul. A lot of fansites have their own things going on, yet they?re all united to make one of the greatest concert experiences for SNSD and sones. It?s lively and fun. Lots of cool banners. Chinese sone were extremely nice. I think maybe they took pity to me since my friends were busy with SNSDChina activity and I?m alone and cannot understand Chinese.. hehehe.. I?ve met few international sone, a Taiwan sone, HK sone and also couple Thai boys who went to school in Shanghai, but so far, I seemed to be the only one who can?t understand Chinese.. hehehe Even most of Chinese sone I?ve met couldn?t speak English (They understand what I said tho?, just can?t reply), they?re very generous and I was well took care off. I didn?t feel a bit lonely even when I was alone in a country I cannot understand the language. I?ll write a whole section regarding all the sone, I?ve met in my trips later on. Now continue with the fan account. The girls arrived in the afternoon. A lot of fans were waiting to send them in again. Even it?s rather hot and quite a long wait only to get a glimpse of the girls for few seconds, all the fans seem to enjoy themselves. We talked and cheer. I?d made many of friends there. After the girls were in, I walked around and have a great time. Some of the Chinese sone showed me around and took me to see Cover dance. Lots of fansites were out and have activities, lots of fan made goods were sold but SM didn?t bring any official goods to SH con. I?ve received a lot of gifts from many fansite and brought bunch of goods also.

The concert start was scheduled at 7:30 but start a bit late. Before the concert start, I asked one of the Chinese sone if I have to go back to the hotel to put my camera back, to my surprise, the Chinese sone told me camera was allowed and actually almost anything was allowed into the concert. True to her words, camera and food and drink were allowed into the hall, there?re even people walking around selling coffee and ice-cream deliver to your seats. There?s an announcement saying camera and recording were strictly prohibited, but the staffs didn?t seem to care. Everybody was taking pictures and fancams, even right in front of staffs and security and they didn?t care. The girls actually posted for the fan a bit. That?s the reason why there?re so many fancams of SH concert out.

The concert hall was rather small. And since the tickets were quite expensive and they don?t offer means for foreigners to buy tickets, it didn?t sold out. Still, lots of fans were at the concert. The hall was full with fansites? banners. Many SNSD sites, some individual sites?, all 9 of them has at least one. And also even one ot two couple sites. There?re a lot of lighted signs also; with SNSD on, individual name and wording, some in Korean, some in English, and pretty good amount of Shinee signs. It seem like at least 20% of the audiences were Shinee fans, but we?re all cheering for the girls and Shinee together during the concert.

There?re only few change in concert script, but the feeling were rather different.
First, the stage plan was different. There isn?t any standing box. The stage was more like a catwalk with a T-shape at the end and it?s expanded out a little in the middle. With the stage changed, it seems to have some pros and cons. As for cons, the girls were further away from the audience at the sides while the pro was that they kinda group together so you can see all of them. The last time in encore concerts, I was in standing C and I was kinda followed Jessica around after the 2 nd days ended and I came to think of it, I feel like I barely saw Taeyeon even after seeing 2 performances. Hahaha.. I sat during the 1 st 2 concerts and it seems you get better view of the all around concert and all the girls while in a seat. In Shanghai concert I went up next to the front stage and still be able to see everyone as the space was kinda limited.
The VTR has Chinese sub-title, so I still can?t understand them. Lol.. It?s ok since I?ve watched a fansubbed version before.
Third, there songs have chance. Sooyoung?s and Hyoyeon?s solos were changed, and in my opinion the SH concert versions were way sexier!!
I actually saw the staffs came out and spray-pained 5 folded chairs before the concert. Since it?s five of them I thought it?d be for Shinee. It turned out to be for SY solo. Instead of Santa baby, Sooyoung did Britney Spear?s If you seek Amy and Hyoyeon started out with Tell me you Wish (Remix) as before but continue with Ne-Yo?s So Sick. They both were talented. What great performers they are. The performances were awesomely hot. I preferred both than the ones in Seoul concerts. None of the songs added songs from the repackaged were performed in the concerts.
Also, f(x) didn?t come but Shinee came as a guest instead. A lot of Shinee fans in the concert a lot of cheering and supports for them and the girls. So Shinee did Ring Ding Dong instead of f(x)?s Chu~.

Lastly, the security in the concert was quite different, you can pretty much walked around to many section during the concert. I ended up next to the stage for some of the time. Even that Chinese sone were pretty nice and didn?t cause any chaos. Also they allowed camera and lots of people were taking pictures, even the girls were so nice and posted for the fan. It?s quite awesome. I actually had like 12 GB HD fancams. (I haven?t took it myself tho?) I?ll cut Jessica HBD part and uploaded it here soon. I just got back to Bangkok and need to catch up on work, so maybe tomorrow.

Sica moments.. Well let?s list some of Jessica cute moments and others special moments in the concert.
As I said most of the songs were the same Jessica still did 1 year later with Onew and Baby girls with Key. Taeyeon did Hush. I?m not sure if it?s me imagining things or Taeyeon sang Hush even significantly better this time around. It?s awesome. Maybe her singing improved during her musical practice or maybe it?s me imagined things. You can judge it yourself from the fancams.

The girls seemed to enjoy the concerts. There?s few Jessica moments. Toward the end of the concert some fans threw a Jessica?s fansite towel up on the stage. She picked it up and seem to like it. She show it to the fans then tried to wrap it around her waist, but it?s too short. (I don?t know how can they fit all the design into a towel that can?t even go around Jessica?s waist.. LOL)
Yuri and Yoona also picked up Yoona?s fan towel and show them around. Yuri was funny doing that. I think Seohyun also got hers.
There?s one moment when the girls walking back to the main stage, Tiffany was running and try to hit Jessica in the bottom with her towel, but Jessica turn around and caught her first and they played around a bit. It?s very cute moment.
During one of the songs Jessica and Yoona walked up to the end of the T on the stage and posted for fans to take picture. It?s very cute.
During an encore, Jessica has received a large bouquet of roses. I think it was thrown upto the stage, but I didn?t see when see picked it up.
Yoona also picked a fanshirt and look at it and seem like she took it with her. The girls picked up some stuffs thrown into the stage but many of that was thrown back to the fans also.
And at the end, after encore, the moment I?ve been waiting for the reason I was at the Shanghai concert to begin with; Jessica Happy Birthday surprise. The cake was brought up to the stage and the girls say happy birthday to her. All the fan sing Happy Birthday to Jessica, I think you probably have seen the moment in some fancams. I have HD one I?ll cut and upload as soon as I can. I sang along, I even learned Chinese HBD song for the occasion. Hahaha, so my mission for SH concert was half completed.
And the one-sided cake fight start from there, from a very cute cream on her cheek and the next thing we saw the whole cake was all over her face. It?s a mess. She turned around and wiped it off with the girls help. It took her so long to wipe it off, I was worried that it got into her eyes or something. To our relieve she turned around and as expected from Sergeant Sica looking for payback, still with cream all over her face. Hehehe She chased the kids, both her members and Shinee?s around a bit trying to hit them with her towel before settling down the kids thanks all the fans before leaving but after awhile they ran out and play a bit before going back in. Makne stayed a bit longer trying to throw stuff to the fans in each side of the stage, so thoughtful of her. Seohyun Jjang!! The concert ended there, but the experience was not yet ended.

After the concert, lots of fans waited out to send the kids to there buses, but for some unknown reason. The staffs hold up black cloth to block out the fans? view. Still, the fan waited and cheered. You can hear SoNyuhShiDae! SoNyuhShiDae! SoNyuhShiDae! in unison from far away. As the bus drove off someone, I think Taeyeon, has her camera out between curtains and shot or filmed the fans that lined up cheering for them.

The night ended that way still tomorrow was waiting, Jessica Birthday!! We were at the airport waiting to send the girls in the gate. It?s a long wait but entertaining one. Chinese sone again were so nice. As we got bore, we started to sign Happy Birthday (to Sica) randomly to people walking into the custom. Hahaha.. People who passed by seemed to interest and asked us question, like what are we doing here or stuff like that. Again Chinese sone answered in unison, it?s fun. The people who walked pass us seem to be having fun also. When groups of Koreans past we would talked to them (sometime in unison again.. hahaha) telling them we?re sone. Most of them seemed to be impressed. There?s a group of older Korean tourist talked in and asked why?re we here. We told them we?re waiting for SNSD and one of the ajusshi said ?ahh!! Fany!!? It seemed like he?s a Fany fan. As he?s waiting he turned and yell ?Saranheeyo~? and made heart shape with his arms. He received some cheering and lauge. Everyone has a good time. Finall around 11 something am. I was a bit worried about the girls well-being as it?s a really long walk from the front gate to the custom entry and no barrier was put up. The buses arrived, the fan started to run to the gate. It?s a little confusing. I stayed in front of custom entry and hoped the kids would arrived safely without chaos like in Vietnam. To my relief the kids arrived safely and we?re all cheering. We sang Jessica Happy Birthday again. It?s then that my mission for the trip completed. I sang Jessica happy birthday for all the Thai sone who were be able to be here. : )
We?re still cheering and singing after the kids already in the custom. After awhile I bided Chinese sone goodbye and headed back to the hotel.

As I said before, my fan account won?t be complete if I haven?t mentioned all sone I?ve met. I receive just great hospitality from Chinese sone and we have a blast. During my Seoul trips I had received lots of help from Korean sone, Shinee world, elf, and even M-Blake fans, Korean fanclub Jjang, especially sone!!. I feel so grateful. This time I?m also grateful of Chinese sone. They?ve taken great care of me. Shanghai though being a very modern city doesn?t as foreigner friendly as Seoul is. Some of the signs and maps even in subway were Chinese only, so the Chinese sone helped me getting around. As we a waited to send the girls into practice, some of Chinese sone went out to get some food. They got some for me and refused to take my money saying it?s their treat. I don?t even really know them. At the end of the day, I have to go back to my hotel alone, they offered to take me back afraid that I?ll get lost. I refused and they ended up took me to the subway and bought ticket for me and gave me direction before we parted.
On the days of the concerts, I was kinda alone as my friends, SNSDChina staffs, have to work on their projects. So many Chinese sone came in to talk to me. However, most of Chinese sone can understand English, but couldn?t speak very well. Lots of time I told them I couldn?t speak Chinese they asked around in their group trying to someone who can to talk to me instead of just walk away. I met a large fansite group, about 20 of them, they asked around and ended up apologized me as none of them and speak English. However, they gave me balloons, banners, stickers and a code sheet. Also they took out huge banners they have that still rolled up and hold it for me to take pictures one by one. Once I told them I?m done taking picture, they?ll just put it back and roll out another just so I could take a pic. They?re so nice. I meet some Jessica fans. One of them were so excited, she want to talk to me but her English wasn?t good, so she called her sister, also a Jessica fan, who has better English and put me to her sister. We talked about the concerts and the time I?ve met Jessica at the fansigning event. She?s so excited. She couldn?t made it to the concert but she wish me to enjoy. The next things I know I was surround by some Chinese fan, some that can speak Chinese talked to me. One of them even text their friend about me and told me her friend texted back wishing me to have great time in the concert. One of Jessica fan took out a digital dictionary and we shad a conversation on it. It?s great. I feel welcome and not alone even when I couldn?t communicate to most of them.
SNSD China gave a give bag with all goodies they sell. There?re some banners. Stickers, Drawing of cute SNSD cartoon characters and 9 pins of cartoon version of all 9 girls. I had Hyoyeon color shirt on the day of the concert (I wore Sica?s to the airport on her birthday.) as Hyoyeon was awesome during my last trip to encore concert. Chinese Hyoyeon fan was all excited. We couldn?t speak English at all, but we took pictures together and she gave couple of Hyoyeon?s bookmarks. It?s awesome.

I also exchange contacts with many of fans and already talked to them on MSN. My sone contact page on my organizer already has Koreans, Chineses, Taiwanese, Thai, and even some Vietnam, SG, Indo and etc. I?m so glad to be able to meet, know and become friends with so many people. We had our differents, languages, age (I become friends with some 14-15 years old boys. That was like less than half my age!!), nationality but we all share the love for your girls. SNSD and sone Jjang!!

After I lelf the airport, I thanked Chinese sone saying I received just great hostpitality from Chinese sone. She told me it?s her pleasure since we?re all sone. I was touched.

In the end, I came back with a new mission. To make BKK concert the best experience for everyone, the girls all the staffs and sone regardless of their nationalities. I hope I can repay the favor that way. : )

P.S. - a fanmade VDO for Jessica birthday made by Thai sone. We were asked by people who organized the project to send it a picture with hearts in it without being informed of what they will do with the pictures. I sent in couple I took with SNSD heart-shaped balloons. Here is the finished product!!

This project was made wholeheartedly by Thai Sone, just to tell the world how much love we have for our Sergeant Sic.

It?s quite an interesting experience trying to get good pictures of Helium balloon when it?s windy. ; )

P.S. I hope I got to meet more of you nice intl' sone again at Taeyeon musical next month. : )
