Hey all!
i'm new to the boards here, and i have zero knowledge of Korean… but i'm curious about something in the lyrics up there.

What's the difference between 잘났다 (jallatda) and 잘났어 (jallasseo)?

Up there in the translations we have:
너 잘났다 정말! (neo jallatda jeongmal!)
and
너 잘났어 정말! (neo jallasseo jeongmal!)

Both of these are translated as:
"You're such a show-off, seriously!"

If you say so, i'll believe you.  i trust you guys!  :D
But i'm curious, what is the significance of saying it both ways?

At one point Taeyeon sings 너 잘났다 정말! (neo jallatda jeongmal!) and Seohyun blasts out 잘났어 (jallasseo) behind her.
Is that an emphasis of something in particular?  Or maybe i'm hearing wrong!

i dunno.  Like i said, i'm just curious about the language.  If anybody has any thoughts, i'd love to hear 'em!
