To me, Baby Maybe is three minutes and forty-two seconds of pure, wonderful, perfect joy. Its my favorite track on the CD, and one of my all-time faves, so much so that I keep hitting the back button and re-playing it while I'm driving. First, the harp intro just blows me away - its graceful, beautiful, and soft, yet powerful, just like the Nine Ladies who perform the song. Second, the vocals and vocal harmonies are so positively uplifting. The Girls' voices blend and mesh so well. Third, the music and percussion parts are great and don't overwhelm the vocals. There is an unmistakeable happiness to the vocals.
Even though my knowledge of spoken Korean is very limited, I absolutely love this song.
Thank you so much for the translation and romanization of the lyrics. Next time I'm in Korea, I'll have to find a Karaoke club just so I can try hand at it (I tried "Gee" last year and didn't ::totally:: suck
