Fanaccount of SM Town concert at Staples Center in LA 2010

First off everything seems like a blur and I cannot seem to remember much. I remember random bits here and there so stuff will probably be out of order. And warning, I do use the word “awesome” a lot…so beware. Anyways, I got to Staples Center around 5:30PM and there was already a huge crowd. There was no line or anything just everyone group together standing around. I heard random cheers, no idea why. Whether they saw an artist walking by or just waiting for the door to open….I have no idea. For a period time I heard people screaming SNSD. I wasn’t tall enough to look over the huge crowd near the door to look inside. Then there was a huge chant for SNSD. I was standing in front of some people that tried to get a chant for ShiNee going but quickly died down. The Staples Center people were supposed to let us in at 6:00PM but it was already 6:08PM and the doors still were not open yet. The crowd started chanting “Let us in”. Soon after that the doors were open and we were slowly let in.

I finally got inside through the metal detector with everything intact. It didn’t seem like they were doing a thorough search job. I saw a lot of people with Nikon and Canon camera’s with big lenses, like those professional cameras. That’s when I was like crap what I am supposed to do with my Canon SD1100, I should have lugged one of those professional cameras. I got inside, grabbed a SM Town pamphlet, bought a water bottle from CPK ($4…they are raking in money) to prepare for my scream fest. I finally headed down to Floor 3 sitting among fellow Soshified members. I was amazed with my seat… and all the pink around me. As I sat down, the first thing the people I was sitting with asked me was “Whose your favorite member?” Of course I replied all of them; but I told them I might be more biased towards Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica, and then I couldn’t make up my mind and said all of them again.
I was sitting around just waiting for the concert to start. The first artist was J-Min (had no idea who she was). She sang two songs and introduced herself as a Japanese artist. Then Dana and Sunday came out and performed. It was nice to see them perform again. Beautiful voices and I remembered they talked in English for a little bit. Then Zhang LiYin came out and sang and talked in Chinese. Then Kangta came out sang a song. Talked for a little bit and then performed “7989” duet with Go Ara. Kangta is still as handsome as ever. F(x) then came out and performed “Lachata”. They did an awesome performance but I was still a little dazed like where is Amber. The Jung sisters then performed “Tik Tok”. So amazing…I’m speechless. I am a little pissed off because I accidentally deleted my fancam of them performing. (More on that later).

This is where everything seems like a mumbo jumbo of blurs and blobs… I just going by the order of my fancams. I’m missing a lot of performances in between.

I cannot remember if f(x) performed another song or if it was Trax next. I was going who is that and then I stared around the stadium and saw the artist name on the sides of the stadium. Their performance was wow…I came in not knowing who they were and was just amazed with their singing. The second song they performed was my favorite. No idea what the song is called though. (Does anyone know?)

By this time, ShiNee came out. I was staring intently at the main stage when I felt a jabbed in rib and turned over and just stared in awe. There was Jonghyun right in front of me. My mouth dropped and quickly fumbled to get my camera turned on. (Fancam) Then as you can see in the fancam, Key also came over and was right in front of me. I think my camera slipped a couple of times cutting off his head. (Fancam )Sorry!!! ShiNee then performed another song “Replay” I think. (Fancam ) Then I have a( My link ) of Minho rapping no idea to what. Then Luna came out and sang. She has such an amazing…I repeat AMAZING voice.

Seohyun then appeared right in front of me and performed her duet with Kyuhyun. She absolutely looked like an angel walking up that staircase. The both busted out some amazing vocals. I must apologize to some fellow Soshified member’s behind me for catching you on camera. I can’t figure out how to edit or cut. (My link )

Wow…there was an uproar when SNSD came out and performed Run Devil Run. It’s unbelievable watching them perform live….(Blurry fancam: My link) The girls then introduced themselves. Mostly Taeyeon and Tiffany talked. Some random English that I remembered… Tiffany’s “What’s up LA?” then Jessica blurted out “I’m nervous”. Taeyeon going “Whoo…” (I’m going to count that as English). Sooyoung said something, but I can’t understand. They got the crowd really riled up and excited waving and saying hello to not just the floor and lower levels but also the upper levels. Next they stripped their “Run Devil Run” outfit to their next outfit to perform “Kissing You”. (Fancam: My link ) Yoona came over to where I was. So pretty, so small, so tall, so skinny…that was what I was thinking as I stared at her. Then Seohyun came over. My camera slipped towards the end. Yoona came back over and I also saw Jessica coming my way too. Why did they have to turn off the light? (Fancam: My link )

Super Junior performed “Super Girl”. They came down the stage like runway models. Henry and Zhoumi (is that right?) performed with them. (Fancam: My link) They introduced themselves. Henry spoke in English. They also performed “No Other”. (I love this song…fancam My link ) I don’t remember when this happened but Henry was playing crazily on his electric violin…what a talented guy. Highlight…Heechul and Henry kissed?? Blurry…I’m still in a daze. I just know Heechul kissed someone…

At this moment, I received a message from my camera kindly informing me that my memory card is full. NOOOOO!!! I spent the next 10 minutes deleting pictures and video clips. One of them the “Tik Tok” performance. I learned a lot from this. I need to get a bigger SD Card or bring extra with me. This was probably one of my biggest regrets that night.

Boa gave great performances. During one of her songs, she had some technical difficulties. The soundtrack was repeating and she was having problem hearing her voice through her headphone. She voiced this a couple of times before the performance “I can’t hear my voice in my ear”. She still pulled off the performance like a pro. They switched out/fix her headphone. She performed a ballad.

The girls came out and performed “Genie”. They looked amazing. The outfit really shows off their legs well. The dance break was just “daebuk”. The crowd went crazy…I went crazy. The result of this…a very shaky and blurry fancam (My link ). Taeyeon’s solo….OMG!!! Wow!!! Nothing like it. It would be awesome if I could just pack them up (Super Junior too), put them in my bag, and take them home. That would be a little creepy…but I’m probably not the only one thinking that.

I can’t remember much anymore. I’m just going to post up links to fancams and write down some scribbles from now on.

The girls came back and performed “OH”. I love the girls being playful…Hyoyeon knocking out Seohyun. Yuri’s wiggling her butt and doing her heart dance. They were so cute and gorgeous and the same time. Is that possible? My link

Finally TVQX appears….Changmin was right in front of me getting prepped for the wired performance. After watching the clip after the concert it feels like the clip should be rate PG-13. I feel like a pervert too. But the lighting I was getting made it seem like Changmin was a flying angel especially in his white suit. My link

A glimpse of Donghae (My link ) and then he was gone. A glimpse of Kyuhyun (My link ) and then he was gone. By this time, I barely have any memory left so the fancams are getting shorter and shorter.

The next fancam is a little dark but if you look really really close you will see Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, and Seohyun in the white tees and jean waiting to go on stage during ShiNee’s performance. The artist then all appeared on stage for the goodbye song. It was surreal, I kept thinking the concert couldn't be over already, could it? (My link ) Lots of confetti blasted at the end. It was really pretty. At this moment, I kept going why didn’t I bring that spare SD Card. I turned around to look as the artist went out to the extended stage. I noticed one of the girls hugging Tiffany (it seemed like she teared up). My eyes were everywhere….but I don’t remember anything. It’s all a blur again.
I remember as all the artist went back to the main stage, Hyoyeon and Yuriwere at the left side of the stage fooling around. Posing for fans…Jessica went over to them and smack Yuri on the butt with I think Soshified’s heart. (Correct me if I’m wrong) I was just thinking YULSIC!!!
As the artists were leaving, the girls all gathered and bowed to the crowd. (My link) And the concert was over.
