This has always been my favorite song of theirs, and before I'd stumbled across this translation (via the IceTeaRs video), I used to hope and hope the lyrics weren't, ah, better off forgotten. I remember feeling a twang of disappointment at the opening verse (especially at "With your patient faith and gentle heart Please forgive his mistakes"), but that died away when the second verse turns to a male audience.
