AIRPORT

Snsdkid and I arrived at the airport rather early, a little after 5AM. By 8AM, everyone was crowding around and I saw their silhouettes behind the fogged glass as they were taking some photos together. As soon as they came out, everyone started screaming like crazy, but I just froze up.

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=yQfuKkTBWbA
This was my fancam, it was pretty short because they were walking pretty quickly and people were blocking my way, so I couldn't see them after that.

The girls are so beautiful in person, they look much better than they do on tv. They all walked out and Taeyeon started to wave at everyone, then everyone followed them to their bus. By the time I got there, Taeyeon was looking out the window and making hearts with her arms at all the fans, it was adorable!

Their bus drove off and most people left, but we were still standing around talking. Then suddenly, I see their bus come back as it drives right past me and Jessica was looking out the window, staring at me. It stopped a couple of steps to my left and I froze up and just muttered "Oh my god" under my breath. At this point, snsdkid was already screaming and everyone came back, yet Jessica was still staring at the both of us and waving. It took me a while to wave back, she was really breath taking. After a little while, she closed the curtains.

Then Taeyeon's curtains open and she started to wave and smile at everyone too. When her eyes met mine, I felt my heart skip a beat. She looked really energetic in comparison to Jessica who seemed really tired. After a little while, she drew the curtains too, but she didn't close them properly and we could see her leg and everyone started to spaz.

Then everyone went to the other side of the bus where she was waving to the other side. Snsdkid and I then held up our signs and Taeyeon saw them and smiled at us before making a heart. Later, their manager (I think?) closed the curtain, so everyone went back to the other side.

Everyone did the soshi chant together, but it felt pretty awkward. Then we saw Taeyeon pull out her iPad and snsdkid screamed "Oh my gosh, she's going to write a message on it for us!" so everyone pulled out their camera, but she was probably listening to music because nothing happened and the bus drove away.

CONCERT

At the concert, the girls performed a special dance stage with SHINee's Taemin, The Boys, Kissing You and Gee in that order. Their presence was out of the world and the whole stadium exploded in cheers. From where I was standing, the fanchants for The Boys was really loud and I could hear a lot of people rapping along with Yoona.

The special stage was pretty epic too. The members performing were Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yoona and Taemin. There were a lot of people screaming, and if I'm not mistaken, it seems like the same performance as the dance battle with they did with Yoona at the SM Town concerts.
Here's my fancam, though you can't see much:
http://www.youtube.c...I&feature=inbox

For Kissing You, the song was similar to the concert version where we sung certain parts of the lyrics too. Anyway, in the performance, they all spread out and were throwing roses at the crowd. Unfortunately, I was too far to get one :(

Then, finally, Gee was performed on the other side of the stage where I was in the front row of and pretty much the whole stadium sung along with them. Even the fanchants were really loud.

Soshi performed in the middle of the concert and only Yuri, Tiffany and Jessica were at the Arirang ending. There was a lot of Harasic, the two pretty much stuck together like glue. At this time, all the artists were throwing out signed balls to the crowd and I saw Jessica and 4Minute's Sohyun peg some at members of the audience hahaha, lucky fans. Secret and Sistar were pretty much standing within a two metre radius from me and I heard snsdkid imitating DJ Cesca's "Seeeccreeet~" so I copied her and they turned around and was looking around LOL.

Remember how I said Jessica looked dead tired on the bus? At the concert, she was just full of energy and was all smiles. I really admire their professionalism, our girls are really amazing. Seeing them in person just made me love them even more than I already did, and I would have never thought it'd even be possible to love them more.

It was an incredible performance. I actually cried.. it was so embarrassing :P I was holding on to my friend's hand the whole time. I was planning to go to the airport, but none of my friends were willing to get up early enough to go and I didn't want to go alone. Sigh I need to find some more diehard sone friends. I think they were surprised at the response they got, that all the performances got. Maybe it'll mean they'll come back to Australia more often! I thought Sooyoung came out at the end as well? But I was pretty far away and it was difficult to see.

I also went to airport with 2 of my friends. Unfortunately, i didn't get any good photos of them since there was so much people and security. My friend said that they were going to stay at sheraton hotel so we went there. After about 30 minutes we were about to give up but we saw the bus they travelling in. We chased it by foot, hoping that we would get a wave from them but it looked like they were resting. Saw them getting off the bus and we camped there for about 4 hours infront of the hotel and saw them getting on a bus to the concert. We tried following the bus and got lost in traffic but ended up finding the bus near the concert area and to no surpise their curtains were up.

Managed to find jo kwon and miss A leaving the hotel to go shopping and got their autographs.

Seeing them up close (although it wasn't really that close) and personal felt like so good. Hope they come back again.

Had such a good time there, not so for the 10 hours of waiting in line to be in front of the stage, but it was worth it!

This was my experience :)
I flew from N.Z. to see the concert, it was my only chance after missing out on SNSD and 2NE1 concerts in Seoul when I was there. After seeing the line up and realizing that I am a fan of every female artist performing I just couldn't miss out lol
Having booked my tickets from ticketek in aus I wasn't allowed a specific view of seating just a rough floor plan for the concerts design. I paid for Gold V.I.P. seating and was surprised that they were just plastic lawn chairs grouped into sections and tied together with plastic ties lol I thought it was gonna be something a lil more distinctive to separate standing from seating because once someone came out everyone in V.I.P. seating automatically stood up lol so in the end I spent most of the concert standing without the benefit of being that close to the stage which to me kinda negated the whole purpose of having the distinction within the ticketing option.

Even though the Stadium wasn't full I was still impressed at the turn out and the atmosphere was really great. Luckily enough for me some people didn't turn up in my row letting those left behind with a bit more room to move out and enjoy our space. Since the only info I had was it began at 7, I was unsure how they were gonna work it there being 12 acts in total, but I was a lil disappointed that it was only 3 hours long, giving each act a total of 3 songs, I mean for the ticket prices and for the distance they traveled to perform my guess was it would'ave been longer, then again I suppose if I had my pick not all 12 acts would'ave played and I could'ave seen more of my favs :P but wouldn't every fan feel that way too? lol

I had a bit of a dilemma too, I wanted to get some fancam and pics, but I was still quite far from the stage for my lil camera lol and just how much time did I want to spend with my arms straight up in the air capturing the show staring at the lcd screen instead of actually watching the show :/ I'm glad I got the footage I did, but at times I had to tell myself to stop recording and take a look at my fav Idol stars... right there! in the flesh, performing, being in the moment or capturing memories, it was a tough balancing act lol ;)

SHINee up first was cool, but I felt sorry for them doing only 3 songs and then having to wait almost 3 hours before the Arirang farewell lol Speaking of the farewell where were the rest of SNSD? Does anyone know? I wanted to see Taeyeon, wave and smile like only she can :(

The special stages were cool, I think MBLAQ and TVXQ were really charismatic, I think Miss A and 4 Minute looked sexy in their outfits and that SNSD and Kara were gorgeous in theirs. Seeing Hyorin was awesome, as my like for her has skyrocketed because of Immortal Song 2, I always thought she was sexy, but her raspy powerful voice and playful personality really has endeared me to her. I'm glad 2AM sung 'This Song' because it was the only song I knew of theirs lol so that I enjoyed. I couldn't actually believe it when SNSD came out, it was a very surreal feeling. My only regret was that I didn't sit on the left hand side, cause that was the side Taeyeon walked down :( so I missed out on a closer up view of her, Sooyoung and Sica.

In my opinion tho CNBlue stole the concert, their stage really got everyone around me moving, and Yonghwa surprised me from how I've come to know him thru WGM, he was an awesome leading man lol I really enjoyed their stage. :) It was all far far to short tho, I was just starting to get into each act when they were hurried off the stage in preparation for the next lol Just gave the whole concert a very rushed feel, even with Yuri and Fani's MC'ing thruout.

All in all I had a great time, next time if I ever get to another concert I'll make sure I go as close to the stage as possible lol While the acts were extremely professional and polished as only all of our fav Idol stars can be, I felt the concert itself could'ave been better, sound was patchy in parts and had complete vocal cutouts in others, the lighting was awesome and the set design was very cool with each acts own personal style for their stage. A great memory to put away and cherish again and again, until we meet again, SHINee, Miss A, Sistar, 2AM, Secret, Beast, MBLAQ, 4 Minute, TVXQ, CNblue, Kara and of course SNSD, saranghae!! and Fighting! ^^

Yeah! I was wondering about SNSD in the end as well D: I wanted to see Sunny again D:

I agree with the camera...even though I was in V.I.P standing ....it was still hard for me to get a shot cuz every1 was a tad taller and all the tall ones were at the front with a few posters and some huge Ipads so i stayed in my spot near the very front of stage(just parallel to the V.I.P sitting) where the kpop artists walked (saw heaps...like literally a meter away from me Jo Kwon, KARA goo hara and seungyeon XD aigoo, All SNSD, Sistar, 2am, Yeosob!!!!, Hyunah XDSexy~ for ages, pretty much every1 except for shinee and miss a :) So I'm very happy)

I also got 2 of those balls they chucked in the end with signatures. Both were green and one had Ji Yoon of 4minute and the other had Changmin and U.know of DBSK/TVXQ....XD so lucky.

Then CNBLUE!!!! Oh god....my favorite boy band....they just know how to rock the whole show. XD

Bad thing about me is that my camera was a DSLR...now this is not a bad thing...IF YOU KNOW HOW TO FREAKING USE IT. Hyunah was standing a meter away from me but everytime i tried to take a picture i had to focus to get a very detailed shot THEN she will either turn or run around!!!!! WHY and one of the pics were super blurry....

Overall I'm sooooo happy with this once-in-a-lifetime experience even though i've been to heaps of concerts (bruno mars, Black eyed peas etc...) This was the most awesome...except for getting squished like a sandwich for 2~3 hours in line and don't even talk about the pushing when they opened the doors JESUS help me...the Aussie sun was bad aswell, lucky i had an umbrella and a friend to buy me food and take turns when buying merch. Welll.... no pain no gain

I'm still star struck and sad that a night like that passed so quickly...

Apparently 5 members had to film something for Inkigayo and receive their awards, leaving us Sooyoung, Jessica, Tiffany and Yuri XD

Nice! FatnessFirst , good to hear an account from someone in standing, yeah I know what u mean with the signs, arms, cameras etc of randoms being in the way of shot, ironically looking over my fancam, the worst was for SNSD when they were up front :( I had one guy right in the middle of my shot, his arm and his camera lol such is the way concerts go eh. You're so lucky as u said getting some of the things they threw, on the way back to Parramatta on the train I was next to a young white guy who was holding a rose and I asked him, "bro who threw you your rose?" and u know what he said? "I have no idea" ... :/ D: !!! I felt like taking it off him as he clearly didn't deserve it lol who pays $300 to go to a concert when they don't know the top artist performing??? I just had to laugh.

It's a shame about your lack of expertise with your cam at the time, my cam seemed to have a mind of its own at times too altho it's not a DSLR lol so I can only imagine how frustrating it was for you being that close and not being able to get the shots you wanted, I bet you'll practice with it for next time eh? :P

Soooo Jealous you had Goo Hara and Seung Yeon in front of you!!! My 2 fav members of Kara... :o

Can't wait to buy the DVD of the concert when it's released :)

Did anyone get a signed ball!? Secret and Sistar were so close to me, but I couldn't get any.
I think that if I got a rose, I'd just die on the spot.

WAAAAAAA why'd they throw it out T_T?!

Well I got a ball signed by TVXQ (both of them) + another with Ji Yoon of 4 minute. I was trying to grab a rose from Taeyeon or Yuri but I'm too small LOL. If I were you I would've kept a petal from the rose and laminated it then put it in a picture frame XD.

I had a pretty bad airport experience after the concert aswell....First we ate at the mcdonalds near the domestic airport and we got a meal + smoothie, excpet they didn't have a smoothie so they offered vanilla shake instead....turns out it was vailla soft serve put on one of those huge milkshake containers LOL. Then since the airport closes from 11pm to 4am we had to wait from 12:30 to 4am outside the benches without a toilet....and the mcdonalds was a fair walk(not really)...ended up taking a ___ in the dark at the rooftop of the carpark.... asian style. Then I couldn't sleep even though i felt like I took 8 bottles of Jim Beam in 10 seconds. I was so knackered after that concert after standing for more than 5-7 hours. It was all worth it though
