The post office said it'll take 8 - 10 days for normal air mail. So I think if you are sending it now it may not be able to reach before 15 July unless you send by express air mail which will cause around 30+ SGD.

oh my ! i couldnt find postcards thats suitable. i really want to be part of this =(

By air mail(written in the first post). But honestly it takes around 8-10 days to make it to the United States, so I don't think it'll make it in time. :X

Try to mail it guys. The deadline is actually before we mail the gifts out, Which is probably going to be third week of July. So if you haven't sent yours yet, you still have time!

Head down to the post office and let the staff there know you want the postcard to be sent to the US.

How much stamp do I need to put on the envelope ? I have no idea about mailing since it's my first time. But I live in singapore and probably will only be able to mail it tmr, it might not reach there in time , will it still be accepted ?

there is still a week before the deadline and it can still be accepted until they are ready to send the gifts on the 3rd week.

"Who never tries never win", there will be other project for sure but you can also donate for the gifts if you want or suggest idea for the gift this way you can participate to this year birthday event!

If you don't try it will certainly not be accepted. We can't delay the sending of the gifts. Hopefully your postcard should reach on the 18 which is the 3rd week of july.
I'm not a fortune teller so I can't say if yours will reach in time but let me answer you question with this question:

"Is it worth trying?"

I think if you ask a post employee, he'd definetly know and help you out with sending your postcard. You can put a local stamp on the postcard and in this case any stamp of your country will be fine even the cheapest and then put you stamped postcard in the enveloppe and ask the employee to stamp it correctly for you to reach US by AIRMAIL and pay the stamps you bought. Airmail not the slowest mail on ship or it will never reach in time :)

I had to trim the postcard to fit the size requirement. Due to Postal workers just returning to work from the lockout, there is no guarantee on how long mail will take to go through the system. Hopefully paying extra for express will get the postcard in on time and pass the screening.

Can't google help you about this? Your postal service doesn't have an internet page? Can't you ask an employee from post to help you with it?

Google says this to me: http://www.singpost.com.sg/mailrate/ Can you figure the rest by yourself? I'm no singapore people. But please be inventive and don't stay in passive mode!

does this mean the deadline is moved up until let's say july 24th?

Don't push off limits guys. Deadline was suppose to be on the 14th. Ask yourself if it is worth trying. If your postcard get lost you'd still have tried and done your best.

If it reach! Goal!!!!! You've done it and can be proud to participate.

So which side do you belong? One that never tries and never wins? One that may lost but still tries?

Who know? At least if you don't do, you're sure it won't reach.

So instead of worrying about things you cannot act onto, act and send one!

If it's lost you lose a postcard and sending cost compare it to the satisfaction of participating!

Don't forget to take a picture in case it is lost you can still share with the community!

Now it's up to you guys, we can't delay the gifts departure because we can't be late for the birthday! But you have a choice.

Be responsible of your choice!

I've made mine. Did you make yours?

It was optional. It's to get more international feeling since stamp are different from country to an another.

It wasn't mandatory since we don't send the card through postal service but with the gifts for the 4th anni!
