LOL, yeah, SNSD definitely sets the trend in Korea, but it's kindof weird that they're referred to as a brand/product. hm...i guess that's how marketing and sponsorship companies think. SM has a pretty sound strategy by promoting them in Japan (while the rest of the numerous rookie girl groups duke it out in Korea) and having them fill gap left by DBSK.

I think SNSD has a really good chance of being successful in Japan. They're already recognized and praised by many celebs...and magazines are already talking about them! It is definitely an asset that Sooyoung is fluent in Japanese since she's usually the spokesperson of the group.

just know that soshi will debut in japan under universal music not avex like boa and dbsk did before. hope sm now have planned it better coz learning from how sm managed to make boa and dbsk too long for their overseas activities have made their popularity not as much as before they did that. go soshi. i'll support all 9 together forever!

it could have been a great thing if snsd was labeled at AVEX than universal japan (more powerful and glamorous promotions) as for BoA's case now...i think its issues about her and the company that made it not so good for her. its just that universal japan, even if one of the most powerful labels, is known for their one-hit wonder artists....
