Well what can i say?
Its been 3 long years and our girls
have not only become overwhelmingly successful but
have grown into mature and beautiful women..
They have showered us with talent over this time;
releasing beautiful music, gracing magazines,
holding live concerts, showcasing their talents on shows such as
Star Golden Bell, Invincible Youth, and Hello Baby.

Through their hard work and dedication,
they've become one of Asia's most popular groups.
Their schedules are always packed and no matter how busy things get,
you never hear a word of complaint or contest..
This shows the discipline and perserverance these girls
put into their careers for their fans..

I hope that one day they become so popular that they might debut
here in America and even to the other side of the world, Europe.
I pray that through the times ahead,
that the lord watch over them and keep them from harms way.
I pray for the success that they drive for so hard each and every day.

from that one viewing of the gee video through a friend three fateful months ago... my initial reaction was a lil haughty...as i've never really listened to pop...much less asian pop or should i say k-pop. cut to 24 hours later and the video had been replayed over 70 times. i wanted to know who these girls were. there were 9 of them! how would i remember all their names. i wanted to suddenly learn how to speak korean.

now, three months down the line, i've watched as many eps of the 9 as i could find out there and somehow, feel like i know them personally. i have liked bands and songs before...but not to this extent. never actually. i guess i'm not alone.

so anyways...happy 3rd anniv and continue to convert more ppl around the world.

wow that video........EPIC. it has been 3 years for them, 1 year for me
i wasnt really a SONE at first, but the more i listened to their songs and watched their videos, i realized that i was.
though i never called myself one because i couldnt believe it, i could not deny that i love them
it was only through Gee that got me to know them and to like them
i wasnt into them right then and there, but i learned to love them and defend them
i hated those rumors even though some i thought were true
but the more i saw them on variety and reality shows, i was like "those rumors cant be true, they're harmless and even if they are, who cares, they are still the most epic girl group i know"
so from then on i realize i was a SONE, but i still couldnt call myself one because i couldnt support them because of my young age
but then i thought, i might not be able to support them by buying their CDs or posters and such, but as long as i defend them, fight for them, and love them i will always be a SONE

SNSD is the craziest girl group I've watched and for me that's what makes SNSD special. Each member is unique; each with its own quirkiness and dorkiness that is quite endearing. Apart from singing and dancing, you guys are able to bring joy and laughter wherever you go. I hope you will be able to do this for the longest time possible because seeing you guys having fun on stage brings happiness to many people (not only those physically present as audience, though you may not know it).

Things are not easy on you guys as criticism is thrown from all directions but I wish you'll have the strength to face all these. Have faith that no matter how many people bash you there will always be those who will believe. Honestly, I don't see you guys as perfect individuals but I still like you.

Above all I like SNSD because I believe in the friendship that you guys have. The SoShi bond is what pulled me in to be, dare I say, SONE. I hope your bond will grow strong.
