(It was nothing like my KMF experience in 2007! Because I could not get to meet any stars ^^)
I left for LA Saturday morning and we arrived at around 11:30 AM. It was too early to check in, so I decided to pick up my Soshified SNSD support items (bunny ears, foam hand, SNSD balloons, Shinee balloon, and light stick) from KsDreams@soshified/Kim upstairs. After I got my items, I took the elevator downstairs. After going down 1 or 2 floors, the elevator opened and three guys proceeded to get on (out of the three, two really tall Korean guys with shades and luggage bags). I remember at that time that I was thinking (omg! Really good-looking people stay here) I didn’t think much of them. I was starring at the taller one because he was really good-looking, and had a cake full of makeup on. I then stared at his shorter-by-a-few-inches companion who was diagonally 1 feet away. Everything went in slo-motion and it didn’t take me long to realize that I was standing the elevator with 2 SS501 members! O___O Jung Min & Hyun Joong. They were aloof and JungMin was checking himself in the mirror a lot ^^;; I wasn’t sure what Hyun Joong was staring at, but it might have been the mirror to the left. I’m not their biggest fans (I am a YoungSaeng fan) but I couldn’t help by squeal. I wasn’t sure if Hyun Joong/Jung Min looked at me or not but I think everyone in the elevator probably thought I was crazy >_< I didn’t say hi or anything >_< ack. I really wasn’t prepared.
Afterwards, I followed them to their cars and everyone was taking pictures/giving gifts/being fans, etc. I walked back to my family’s van but then I noticed HyungJoong, KyuJong, and YoungSaeng walking across to their cars and I fangirled again. Very fun experience for being at the Wilshire for only a few minutes.
I loved seeing all the Sone/Soshified t-shirts @ the bowl. I’m sorry I didn’t say “hi” to most because I’m not the one to start conversations ^^:;
After that, my parents went to eat lunch with her LA friends so my sisters and friend stayed at the Wilshire with me to look for stars. The next celebrities I saw: SooYoung, Seohyun, Hyoyeon, and Yuri! I followed them down the elevators and when other fans started asking for signatures, I made an advance at them too! Here are the signatures we got:
Sooyoung: (I waited for her to finish her call and another fan to ask first) In the meantime, I just stared at her. And stared and stared. I just couldn’t believe it. She was also very skinny. She asked me what my name was and I told her. She spelled it without trouble! <3333 She then said thank you and walked away. Before she walked away though, I gave her a gift. It was this:

Yuri, Hyoyeon: My sister and friend got their sigs <3 Yuri was uberly nice and Hyoyeon was all smiles and very casual.
Seohyun: Didn’t manage to get her sig until later, but she was very cute, petite, innocentlooking, and polite. I couldn’t imagine that she was my age, she seemed to be years younger!
Everyone was a real-life doll!! They were so skinny, pretty, doll & goddess like >< The camera does add 10 pounds! They were so much more petite and pretty that in videos/pictures. Seohyun was glowing with cuteness!
They left to get pizza from California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks. In the meantime, I waited around again. We then saw Sunny & Taeyeon come down the elevator. They sped out to their cars, but not before I got to hear Sunny’s cute laugh. While SH, Yuri, SY, and HY came to get into their cars, we approached Yuri and SH and got them to sign my foam heart. SY got into the same truck and closed her door, so I didn’t want to bother her. After that, Jessica & Tiffany rushed out to leave as well. Before they left I waved goodbye to SooYoung. At this point, I was a bit sad because Sooyoung acted really distant and didn’t smile at all. =[ She must have been upset about something... Until the best thing happened to me in my Sooyoung-fangirl life:
She stuck two thumbs up while looking out the window and smiled, so I looked back to see who they were meant for. None of the other fans made much of a reaction so I looked back at her, and she was pointing at me!! <333333 She then did a single thumbs up. And then we waved goodbye while she waved back. <3333 My gift bag was also next to her <33 I think she saw my gift and liked it, because it was just in the bag, unwrapped. I hope that she still has the tofu and hasn’t lost it or left it behind <3 I hope to see it in a future SNSD dorm video, haha
My group went to eat California Pizza Kitchen because SNSD ate that, haha. We returned to the hotel then saw Lee Juk, Tae Jin Ah (got his sig), Kim Heung Gook (I said hi and then his assistant laughed at me) , and the Kim Chang Wan band. Shinee left through the other exit so we missed them, but then my mom finally got through traffic to pick us up (it was 3:30 by then) and went to the bowl. @ the bowl, we did what everyone else did, pick up goodies & such. I saw Nico from Soompi! He gave out cookies as a part of Shineee forums? I only recognized him b/c of his shirt, lol. Saw a ton of Soshified members, happy about that too. Heard “Gee” like 4 times. <3 and then we went in. I was really far back because I wanted my whole family to come and enjoy it, while still being able to live at the sponsor hotel. I was sitting in Section S in front of a bunch of SNSD fanboys (w/ one girl?) and SS501 fangirls further down. They were pretty cool. I studied for my AP Bio test here and there during my whole trip, and someone noticed that haha.
My SNSD balloon popped before SNSD came out, and that was the saddest thing. =[ Otherwise, the CONCERT WAS AWESOME. The oldies were good, (maybe Spring Summer Fall Winter was performing a bit too long at the end >< and people waiting for idols were getting impatient ><) But everyone was awesome. Winning performance for crowd: Son Ho Young + Tae Woo + guest MC + Park Joon Hyung
Disappointing: SNSD =[ I screamed my loudest but it couldn’t fix their faulty mics. =[ I sang Sooyoung’s parts with all my heart, but I couldn’t hear her sing them =[ But they need 8 mics, so it’s a bit harder
Shinee: 2 songs, no intro =[ ack.
But the whole concert was awesome. SS501 was a great closure. When we got back to the hotel that night, my sisters wanted to wait downstairs but it was already 2:30 and I wanted to sleep, so went just went to bed.
Sunday morning, I woke up to my mom & youngest sister screaming about seeing artists so I got ready quickly and we decided to check out early. We stayed around the hotel while my parents went to Chinatown to pick up food. We saw Tiffany and my little sister got to approach her for a sig on my foam heart. We then caught SNSD leaving in groups <3 And then it was my chance! I got Hyoyeon and then SUNNY BUNNY TO SIGN MY HEART <3 yay =] I was soooo afraid I wouldn’t get her sig at all. I was only an inch away from her <33 She was soo cute. Sadly, we didn’t get Jessica or Taeyeon’s signatures at all. =[ They were very fast! Lol. We couldn’t catch them at the right time. Jessica is my sister’s favorite and Taeyeon is my friend’s favorite >< Sooyoung didn’t sign my heart, so none of our favorites between the three of us have signatures on the heart. (My youngest sis likes Yuri <3 now)
I saw Shinee leave after that. Onew was unbelievably cute in real life!! OMG! He was smiling the whole time and he even hugged a fan! I was sooooo jealous (since he’s my fave, haha) It was good to see them leave because I thought I wouldn’t get a chance to. =D Even though I didn’t get a signature at all. They looked very busy and tired though.
We left the hotel after that and went to Koreatown Plaza where I bought a KARA poster and a Boys Over Flowers planner. Haha. & that was the end of my lovely trip!
Final comments:
Worst thing that happened: Accidently calling Hyoyeon Sooyoung >< I said, Bye Sooyoung! And she smiled and waved! Then I called out Hyoyeon! Hyoyeon! to correct my error and hope that she didn't notice
Best:
-My youngest sister is now a SNSD fan! And a Yuri one at that!
-Sooyoung acknowledging that she liked her present <3 (hopefully that's what she meant by the thumbs up she sent to me <3) I will never forget that moment <33333 !!
